Day I was born parents hit head on by logging truck! When I got older had 3 eye surgery left me blind for year each time. So my dad set up a cork board, pins balsa wood, etc, plane kit an he would sit with me after he came home from work an go over the parts I put together that day from help he gave me yesterday. So when I got my bandages off an knew I wouldn't be blind forever, family went to elementary school field an flew the planes I built blind! I can remember spending time of trying to figure best center of gravity an then being able to see flight characteristics from guesses! It wasn't good times but my dad's planes an mom reading to me everyday got me through the trama! Thanks for memories, Tim

I cant get over how much fun it is to fly this plane. Thank you so much for getting me back into the hobby! Before I used to buy 200$+ rtf planes that didnt fly even close as well as this plane does. I would crash them beyond repair and walk away from the hobby.
Massive respect to Jeremy. You made a massive leap in flying AND overcoming your own fears. Make sure to take a break once in awhile to cherish your achievements as well as keeping a healthy pace.
You looked so anxious before flight....but it was so great to see such a change in your face to one of enjoyment a little after starting flying . Congrats on the build and flight, and super congrats on facing your anxiety in the face and sending it packing with your smile. You should be proud of yourself :)
Cool Warbird looks like it flies really good. Here's a building tip for you, if you know your hands are going to get dirty, a little preplanning will make cleanup a breeze, before you get started put some hand lotion on your hands. The lotion acts kinda like an invisible glove and prevents most contaminants from penetrating your skin. I do this every time I'm going to work on my car; dirt, grease and oil just won't stick to your skin. When your done a little soap and water and your hands are clean.
I've been watching you guys for AGES!! I got into drones for a bit but never really got off the ground with sticking with it. The last few videos, especially Jeremy's vids, have really been pushing me closer and closer to buying one of your plans. This video sold me. So thank you Jeremy. The accessibility with which you guys have opened to hobby up to, makes it so much easier for people like me with no RC groups anywhere near me. Gonna get me a Warbird!!
Flite Test is the quintessential RC builders experience. Jeremy does an exceptional job with the video editing as well as showing us the true excitement and spirit of building and flight. The experience is so necessary for this sport to flourish and continue to grow. To Josh, Josh, Alex, Stefan, Jeremy and the entire FT crew, Job well done.
AWESOME ! I love P 40 s and this one is great , but PLEASE build some axis (ww2 )warplanes like a bf 109 ( late model ) , or a japaneese N1K1 ja , or the beautifull Fw 190 dora , so we can have some epic dogfights !
A trick I learned when I built scale model aircraft is to paint the lightest colors first, and the darkest colors last. It works really well so that you don't have bleed through from light colors on top.
Videos that feature new pilots learning with a friend are so encouraging to people getting into this hobby. Much like the early days of Flight Test with Josh teaching Josh, these new videos with Jeremy learning are very inspirational. Keep em coming
The P-40 is outstanding. Congratulations on another awesome plane. Here is a challenge for your next scale build. The Iconic PT-17 trainer bipe. They were a good primary aerobatics trainer as well.
I could relate to Jeremy's anxiety while flying. During my first successful flight my legs were literally shaking. After 2-3 take-offs and landings I didn't feel anxious at all and it was all fun from there! Jeremy did an awesome job at building , painting and flying the plane!!!
PLEASE build an F6F Hellcat. The same techniques used for the Corsair would look awesome on a Hellcat that flies like a trainer. Thank you guys for taking the time to create these designs. Also an F6F-3 paint job would look really cool.
Seeing Jeremy's first on-camera solo _and_ those aerobatics had me grinning like a fool. With all the steps in the journey, including what he's shared about his own personal challenges and how he's associated his struggles with what he's learned through Flite Test, this had the feel of a triumphant moment that carried more weight than just flying an RC plane for fun. That P-40 is no Sea Angel, but it's still part of the success story. :)
Super stoked, I just got this kit in the mail. I'm being a little ambitious since not only is this my first build but my first plane to fly. This is my favorite warbird.
I cant wait! Only about a week until i build my first FT Cub. And Also my first scratch build. Keep up the great work guys. Love all your vids. You guys got me into the hobby and I thank you so much for it.
I love the attitude of flite test videos, this video made me look back at the past three years or so of watching your videos and put a big smile on my face! Especially when I seen and remembered the 100mph donut video haha! Just wanted to say I love this channel and don't know what would do with out you all!

Jeremy: I love you and your videos. You progression through build and flight are so relatible. You are such a calm soul, and I see my own thought process through you. Keep being awesome, and know one more person is also cheering you on to be great in flight. Thank you for you inspiration to never give up.
WOOHOO!!! Huge Milesone for you Jeremy!! Overjoyed to see you getting over the hump there and doing a true solo with some aerobatic maneuvers too! Awesome Job, Brother!!! You are definately off to the races now!!
It would be cool to see you guys take a plane and build wings with a hollow airfoil and have smaller wing extensions on the inside that servos would push out mid-flight. Or take a plane and cut out squares on a portion of the wings and create retractable wing slots that would cover the holes when in normal flight and open them when you want to get squirrelly!
When I go flying, my mentor has always said to be "3 mistakes high" if you attempt something. Best advice I've received and I'm now up to 80" wingspan planes with some great success. Any mistakes I've made have been "1/2 a mistake high" haha
Ok, I’ve flown Rc warbirds and the are great in the air, but take off and landings are rough, I gave up flying them because of too much crash damage. This kit looks like the ticket for warbird fun without the major crash damage worries.
