Thanks for sharing this beautiful video. This part of Ilocos Norte is almost like Maui of Hawaii. The lush mountain and rugged coastline are breathtaking and you captured it well. Aloha from HI.
I'm so happy that I was able to drive here last weekend. Manila-Pagudpud-Manila. This video made me decide to drive to Ilocos to celebrate my first wedding anniversary. Only me and my wife on this road trip. It was so fulfilling!
Very scenic! Even with the rainy and cloudy weather you can see the beauty of the área. Somehow to me this weather created a dreamlike quality on your video. Then there's the music. Spellbinding! Hope to experience driving in Pagudpud/Patapat Viaduct someday, hopefully soon. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much for this sir dim, this reminds me of the trip we made from Gattaran,Cagayan, took a jeep to the famous Magapit Hanging bridge,Pantranco ride to Claveria, along the way the conductor was checking how much copra was to be loaded on the way back, only to tell us that the universal joint of the bus was disengage and they have wait for a replacement that will take twentyfour hours away,(but we heard from local people that is what they do all the time only for the copra)we found some good samaritans that took as a joyride to Ilokos, that eventually took us a week to wait for the airline to Batanes,it was early morning so i did not have a chance at the beautiful view of The famous patapat viaduct, but we were told by the owner of the jeep that we were actually on that part,i love viewing your wonderful joyride, more power to your journey, god bless.salamat sir dmitri.
thank you very much for watching sir! thank you for sharing your experience here too, it seems you have a wonderful adventure even with the problems that you have encountered. The mere fact you have met good Samaritans along the road means we got good people in the north :-)
Yung mga turista sa patapat viaduct... Sana may viewing deck na lang o kahit shoulder na pwedeng doon sila. Driving along a coastal road in the rain, with mountains on your left and big waves on your right... Tapos slow down ka pa rin kasi may mga nakaharang na nagpipicturan. Kakasira ng moment 😂 anyways, I don't think the weather was bad at all, I also wonder what it's like to drive in a road like that during a typhoon. Great video.
Saka mas maganda kung IHUHULI ang Patapat Viaduct at Paraiso ni Anton, kasi ito ang pinakadramatic na view. Save the best for last, ika nga.
Hehehe
This is a great joyride. It reminisces my adventure back at the province. Grabe, ang sarap sa lugar nayan. Away from the civilization life and yung weather? Its a mood 😊
Hope you continue your joyride to bangui down to bacarra and laoag. You're that so close to my hometown and to what I requested just a little more. ^_^ Still nice video by the way too bad the rain spoiled it.
summer sana kau pumunta dito sa aparri sir. then you can go to sta.ana as well and its beautiful when u get there specially the scenic view in palaui island.
Nice video, i hope you update your videos on Makati, BGC/Mckinley, Alabang, Bay City and other Metro Manila mini cities like Arca South, i also wanted to know about the "Clark Green City" project. Sorry for too much request . Thank You and Keep Posting :)
Beautiful scenery, well maintained road. Hope you have a chance to go again when it's not raining. In a couple of places your windshield wipers were going to the beat of the music. Was that by design or just luck?
i will be back here and will do it on a sunny day hopefully. I forgot to buy 10 kilos of salt i was so concentrated with the onions and garlic and marsha's bibingka that i forgot what i was supposed to buy here. The salt quality was high grade. :-) as for the music, it was just luck hehehehehe! I did not even notice that until the viewers commenting.
Hi Dmitri, We'll be visiting The Philippines this December for 40 days fter 20 so long years. Wondering whats the best route from Isabela to Laoag on road and get the best views, food and stopovers along the route. Info about traffic and security. I assume its a lot safer nowadays. During my childhood years in Ilocos where I grow up my Dad eould forbid us to go further northeast as it was infested with rebels those days which was an irony to think my Dad was one of the "tibaks" is his UP days.
Sir, the roads from Isabela to Laoag - AH26 is safe, but it is better to travel by daylight to appreciate the views and you know our national roads are not well illuminated at night. Best reach Santa Praxedes while still daylight and Patapat by afternoon to have that golden sun feel. Safe journey!
hmm depending on your ride i guess and the traffic? lagpas 12 hours? i did make some stop overs kasi and this video was from aparri going back to Laoag
i remember going down from ilocos norte after we went to the lighthouse, a cow hesitated to cross the road and we almost hit him. If we actually hit him I would be sad for the cow although how can i be sad if im dead as part of that accident. so be careful people just because its an open road you can floor it.
Love the Beautiful, misty and rainy landscapes of the Philippines. Miss it a lot. Thank you for another great upload.
