Honestly, the rude comments that people have left on this video. They should be ashamed of themselves behaving like that. Did no one ever teach you manners? All the man is trying to do is show you how to make a good cup of tea.
@@anastasia10017 Old comment years ago, although I do agree that you mention rolling money and dental care thing. I guess it's personal choice person we should not concerned about it & we can advice after that it. I also agree on Blah comment leave alone etc.
I have 3 steps in making my loose herbal teas. My steps is similar to yours. The first step I have a fine solid thick stainless steel whistling spout tea kettle, which I bring my tap water just to a perfect temperature. The second step is to pour the boiling water into a special tea infuser I have. I say "special" because my tea infuser has a metal cylinder in the center where I put my loose herbal teas in it. That subtracts one step of using a strainer since the metal cylinder in the center keeps the loose herbs inside, all I have to do is simply pour it to the 3rd step being my teacup. That second step with tea infuser with the metal cylinder in the center is the most efficient way in making herbal tea. That holds 44 ounces of liquid, which is equivalent to five and a half cups.
I love Twining!!!, great tea , king of king i absolutly love it.I tried many flavors and i never been disapointed.Thank you Stephen Twining for bringning us the greatness of your teas and sharing your passion whit us.
Now this is interesting, we always put the milk in first, otherwise if you add the milk to the boiling tea, you scold the milk and end up with a layer of fat on the surface of the tea. it's a little like adding concentrated acid to water and not water to concentrated acid
I usually have the milk in the cup before I pour the tea in, because I've heard that it wouldn't ruin the protein in the milk that way. Of course I'm too bothered to check if it's true, but I find that there are less sheats of milk on top when I leave the cup untouched for a minute.
So what, he's got bad teeth. He's probably got huge country estates in desirable locales, a fleet of jets, a monster yacht, and a harem that tends to his every need. Yeah...I'll take bad teeth if that'll give me all those toys.
Jesus, these comments about the teeth are absurd. Some people honestly don't care about the appearance of their teeth. I brush, floss, and mouthwash every night yet my teeth have still naturally yellowed a bit. Sure, when I visit dentist, they remove it with a whitener but it still happened naturally.
british dentists usually only do surgery if your teeth are threatening your health somehow. otherwise it's unneeded surgery, and every surgical procedure has risks no matter how small. so long as you're not getting pain or anything, and they work fine, there's no big deal. sure there's plenty of dentists who do cosmetic surgery, but it's usually not recommended or pushed on people, it's only if they choose to.
1. straight teeth are easier to clean and it prevents gingivitis ,tooth decay and tooth loss. 2. oral decay leads to heart disease, kidney disease , stroke etc... 3. crooked teeth look disgusting. 4. who in the hell would want to kiss you with teeth like that ?????
I grew up with earl and lady grey. Now I love eng. Breakfast and afternoon tea and australian breakfast. Though I prefer a different brand for assam. Taj Mahal...
November 1, 2016 An enjoyable video...I'm pleased to write that I knew ( or was aware ) most if not all of the steps.....I'm just too lazy to follow them. However, When I have some leisure time to enjoy, I will follow the helpful tips, To the letter .
December 9. 2016 lol....Well, I must admit, Of late, I've been using cold water, measuring the amount of tea, even adding hot water to the cup to melt the sugar. I'm a snob, using only the best teas.... Having ready access to Fortnum products, for one. And I really enjoy my infuser. I'd rather enjoy a cuppa on the High Street, but, until then .... Thanks for your input.
On the surface, the advice is fairly simple: 1. Keep the teapot clean. 2. Don't boil the water too many times. 3. Warm the pot. 4. Adjust tea to desired strength 5. Let water cool a bit for green tea. Out of all of these, the amount of tea, the amount of water, and the temperature are the hardest to master. And they are different for each tea. Two methods with the same tea can yield results that are no where near the same.
I'm happy that I already knew most of this. I thought what about when do add milk, but I realised that it really doesn't make a difference, unless maybe it curdles, but that's just due to the temperature difference, and had no effect on the taste.
Altering the time based on the leaf size is probably the most interesting comment. And that you don't change the time to change the strength. I think that is a mistake we make naturally.
I was put off by that, too. He's a brand ambassador, for God's sake. All that money and no sign of a dentist for years. He's like a walking billboard for what tea does to your teeth.
Interesting topic on how to make good tea, however, I was so surprised that Stephen Twinnings, would be chosen as the front man for this company. The teeth were a huge distraction, I kept thinking Why, with all that cash, could he not get them fixed? He really confirms the reputation that all Brits, have dreadful teeth!!
If he had a few teeth pulled when he was young they wouldn't be so crowded and would have come in straight. Evolution has not caught up with this. My daughter had teeth pulled by a thinking dentist and her teeth came in perfect, no braces!
oh! yak, how his wife or girlfriend kisses him,in the first kiss only she will receive so many gusty germs smelling badly, may be she might feel vomiting sense throughout her life, god bless such a great lady
It would be so cool to sit down and have tea with Mr.Twining.

seriously, would you date a person who has teeth like that ???? on top of that, his family is rolling in money and he doesnt get dental care ????

THE Best Earl Grey IMHO. I also like their Ultra Spice Chai but a lot of people put it down.
Twinings is my favorite brand of tea.
Good advice from a great tea company. Never been disappointed in this brand, even though I stick to the convenience of bags.
Twining's English Breakfast is my go to favorite.
Nice to see real tea made in a tea pot, be warned people once you go pot you won't go back tea bags are fine but a pale shade of the real thing
Thank you for the video! ! I was raised on British tea , tho American on both sides, Twinnings Earl Grey & Lady Grey tea are the absolute best.
One billion loves for Twinings teas. Chai and vanilla chai are my favorite flavors.

Their lady grey tea is one of the most unique twists on earl grey I've ever tried. I buy it again and again.
I am sipping twinings french vanilla chai while watching this video.
That last scene where he drinks the tea and says lovely reminds me of alan partridge
I love his comment about adding a sweetener: "which I wouldn't recommend..."
Well, I wouldn't recommend it either :)
This is such an informative video. Thank you, Mr. Twinings! Btw, I adore your company's Tea very much.

I've always wondered how to pronounce Twinings, now I know! Thank you, sir!
I was buying tea today and I was wondering how to pronounce it. #americanproblems

WOW, That's a tea shop, I wish we had one like that where I live.
I usually drink teapigs but Twinings lady grey is quite nice...

Another great way to clean stains off of tea pots is good old coarse salt
Dude...go to a dentist!
He's British. They don't know what dentists are.
Adam Blister you're a miserable ignorant

Bro its nasty, taking maintenance on your body isn't an act of narcissism its an act of health.
OMG all that money and look at his teeth !!!!!
I grew up with earl and lady grey.

Hi, thanks for the info. I had no idea about how to properly clean a pot.
did he play the mouth of sauron??
i love this guy...he seems so honest
All tea does is turn teeth yellow not rot them.

Looks like Obama! Twinings teas are great, enjoying a mug of green tea w/ lemon right now. Hmmmm...

PM C Well, you're suppose to use cold water in order for the tea to have a fresh taste, but I'm glad you enjoyed my response to your post! 😀
Hello mr.stphen am a sales man from saudi arbia jeddah bahrawi trading company

Green and white tea are actually good at keeping teeth intact, though.

If he had a few teeth pulled when he was young they wouldn't be so crowded and would have come in straight. Evolution has not caught up with this. My daughter had teeth pulled by a thinking dentist and her teeth came in perfect, no braces!
