Now I see why I came through and there was a bike spinning around!!! I was in the Youngblood kit you see in the beginning of your video at the start line. My teammate that’s on the left went down in the crash. Thanks for recording it and making a video out of it!!
Dude your super lucky, my buddy rolled thru that and is getting surgery to reattach his elbow tomorrow. The 1st or 2nd kid actually broke the fence and it punctured hi arm and shoulders. This course is more dangerous than ever. By putting in that bike lane they made turn 1, 20 feet narrower.
For the record the course is not dangerous. They should allow warmup laps to pick lines. However we were able to roll through that corner at high speeds.
Nice! Unlocked a level..."finish with the group". Plus, not at an easy course. 3 and 4 look W I D E enough to drive a bus through sideways, but all that real estate isn't the line at speed (ex: pro race!). Saw a guy end up in a turn 4 tent my first year there. #overcooked
That crash is the stuff of my nightmares - I don’t race, just have an overactive imagination.. awesome job with your race!
2:36 insane luck there 😲
Great job in the race staying safe. Thanks for taking the time to video and add commentary... very exciting. Good luck with the rest of the season.
thank you so much, I appreciate the nice words

😯😯😯 what a save man!!! Great riding!
thanks a lot!
Look at where they had set up that fencing. There was a curb and mulch bed that pops up well in front of where the fence is.
so bad, they fixed if after… useless
Nice video as always! But Im very upset that I dont have such nice crits or races in germany, im always so pumped to do a race
Awesome ride. Can't imagine how cooked your legs were at the end. Great job.

Thaat was a Matrix move to get round that wreck. Nice ride!
I should probably start riding my bike more and practicing Matrix moves less 😂
The fence is in the wrong place
@@bokeron0000 yup, they moved it after the crash

holy shit, crazy that you didn't go down in that crash
I still don’t know how
What do you use for your overlay
Garmin Virb Edit
Avoided 2 crashes that week 👏
yup. next one will be in an upcoming video
Nasty crash, the guy in first place totally face planted and most likely knocked unconscious. Nasty
yup. sending all of the prayers for good recovery
time to remove these metal death barriers from races!
yeah that wouldn’t be a bad idea
Last year I broke a bike on them at TOAD, and 3 people broke collarbones
@@TheConfusedCyclist dang sorry to hear that. that's good
Howly crap bouncing bikes are one of the scariest things ever.
I’m curious what is ur ftp ? And how many hours do you train a week?
definitely scary. my ftp is 4.3w/kg and I train about 15 hours per week
