That jump in 16-2 looks like it may be just possible if you slide down the wall and get your timing just right. I'm not sure about the rest of the level, though.
6-2 and 11-1 are actually impossible, because you eventually have to walk on *cloud blocks!* Anyway, for the next challenge, I think that u should try the story mode in the 3DS version without blocks. Can u try to make that video before SMB Wonder comes out?

I enjoyed Super Mario Maker in 2018, and even though I like SMM2 now, it's fun to see a SMM1 video in 2023!
It is possible to beat 10-2, it is just a remake of one of those SMB3 levels, and when Nathaniel Bandy beat SMB3 without touching blocks, he had a method to get past that level.

Nicobbq makes an exception in cases where you cannot control Mario (such as the Level Clear animation).
In 6-2 I think you touched a block. I’m pretty sure the game lists it as “cloud block” could be wrong tho (this could also apply for other levels too but idk)

I came up with an interesting challenge idea. It's very similar to when you play Mario games without touching coins. The challenge would be to try to beat Scooby Doo First Frights for the Wii without touching any Scooby Snacks. I actually tried it and it's very hard.

It's just called "Ground" in the level editor (probably because only one style renders it as individual blocks), hence not officially a block

Technically fire bars are block because the FIRE is a bar but they're linked to the blocks
Nico tends to define blocks as level elements with "block" in their official English names. The element is called a Fire Bar, hence it's allowed. If any block-shaped element was considered a block, that would include the Ground tiles in the SMB1 style.
@@unmarketableplushie sur but it is still a block in a way and SMB1 ground could count like the SMB3 castle ground and any one tiles ground but fire bar are more closer for the reason that i explained
