Skated 2 enjoi decks at the beginning of 2021 they were awwwwesome! The glue is great concave is steep and kicks are steep. I got them for 48-55$ because enjoi isn't as popular these days. If I find them on sale I pick up them up for backup decks. My only complaint is... Don't gap with these, I broke both with ollie's down 4-5ft loading docks.. haven't done that with deathwish, baker, antihero, or dgk. That being said if you can get one cheaper than MSRP nab it up and skate it, the pop is awesome. Cheers
Good stuff dudemeister! I have a feeling you’re going to enjoi it a lot. And that’s not even just a pun. My last board was a Enjoi Whitey Panda 8.5, with the same measurements I think and on Thunders too (for most of it’s life anyways). Good combo and I love the stiffness of Resin-7 decks. Combo felt very snappy for a long time. I think you forgot to mention it but I’m going to assume it’s a 14.25” wheel base just like my Whitey Panda.
@@Skatebetter if you get the chance maybe try out a 8.375 Darkstar. Also Resin-7 and the concave is steep as are the kicks. Definitely a deck for a pair of low and light Thunders. Anyways looking forward to the inevitable review down the line of that Enjoi deck!
@@Skatebetter cheers! It does doesn’t it? I’ve even got the gold Ace AF1s on it now with Indie 96A Yellow bushings. Only skated it for a tiny amount though just to feel it out. I’m not allowing myself to jump boards until I’m done skating one. If I do that leads to instant gear mania 😂.
To be honest and to my knowledge- the majority of main deck companies use 7-ply so you have quite a few options! Most main brands are quality and as for beginners it’s tough as shapes very so much from deck to deck (even the same brands can have very different shapes). I think brands like Real, Baker, and Toy Machine have pretty “average shapes” based on what I’ve seen/ridden. I would recommend any deck that has average or mellow concave, and not a steep kick or nose. This could help you as a beginner. My other question would be how tall you are/weigh- as I think the deck size/truck size will actually impact your skating more than the brand. Hope that helps! At the end of the day I would say just choosing a brand/graphic you like and enjoy goes a long way as you will be more likely to want to skate, and thus have more fun and progress!
I appreciate the fact you give measurements and deck shape as well, something people are really interested in.
Thanks for the appreciation my g! Happy to help. :)
I just got an 8.125 John Dilo Almost pro deck. Enjoy your new deck😊
He’s one of my fav skaters- let me know how you like it!
I really like Almost deck shapes

Appreciate the input here my g!
Brooooo the art on this deck is amazing. I would just use it for wall art 😎
Right?! It was tough to accept but it must be destroyed and skated lol.

Appreciate you my g and you nailed it on the 14.25 wb. So far I’m lovin’ it! Snappy and stiff for days.

What skateboard would you recommend getting for good quality and beginners, and that’s made from 7 ply maple wood?
