I got that camera today for parts and repair on eBay for about $16... I hope I can get it fixed cuz I may be a kid but I am obsessed with other cameras and technologies. I also wanna take pictures with my besties!!!!
Question: Does the original OneStep seem to require more light in the room/etc to take as good of a photo as the OneStep2 (with or without the flash on)?
The original one-step camera take SX-70 film. It is a low ISO film (low light sensitivity). The modern one-step cameras take I-type or 600 Polaroid film with an IS0 of 640. They are more light-sensitive.
Can it use same film or nah? :/ PLS REPLY CAUSE I HAVE POLAROID ONESTEP AND I CANT FIND A FILM FOR IT... JUST WONDERING IF I CAN USE THE FILM OF ONESTEP 2?
The SX-70 film is what you need, Polaroid doesn't make it anymore but the Impossible Project makes the film for $20.00 a box. (and no, it doesn't work)
FansOfDJLordRon1 please you might be able to help me ! I just got one my dad got at the flea market ! The shutter button just LOCKS !!! The pictures come out but if I put the entire film in IT WOULD go to waste since the button LOCKS ! Help me please !!
one question to the polaroid lovers. Do we have to cover the un-taken film in the camera when we stop taking photos for a while. Because i let my film package in there for a while. After that the film doesnt develop anymore. I have the 1000 Polaroid
If you removed the pack from the camera and left it in the light, it won't work since it exposes the film, and what the film captures is the light. If you left it in for a long time inside the camera, there's a chance the ink dried out if you left It in for a very long time
They could've at least added the rainbow stripe at the front. That stripe is the best!
RayRay A ya I was born after they stop making the film and no they do
At least the OneStep+ has the strip.
Ikr I have a one step2 and I would love for it to have the rainbow stripe 😭
It’s cool to see how far your videos have come in terms of quality and content. Good job Man keep it up 👍🏻👍🏻
Couldn't agree more!
+RaySnaps thanks so much! I hope to keep going :)

Alida Pollock yes you'll want more light, however (at least my original) has a place to add a flash on the top!

@@robertknight4672 Isn´t there an alternative? The SX-70 film cost way more than the camera itself
The new ones should've included the rainbow stripe in the front and sight protrusion in the back! To give it the more original retro feel!
The OneStep+ models have the rainbow stripe.us.polaroidoriginals.com/products/onestep-plus-polaroid-camera
i just googled one i have and its the first one. now im guessing their nice lil polaroid cameras
What about the OneStep Plus?
Love your reviews, man!
Thanks so much!

What film should I use for the original onestep?
Sx70. It is written inside, when you unlock the camera (blue and yellow sticker)

@@sunnyflowerhope8865 Polaroid recommends using appear film Within 2 months once its loaded in the camera.
Which do you prefer? If you could only have one?
Probably the newer one! Just cause of the updates
The old one.
Great comparison! Neat video to watch.

No the film has the battery
I'm selling my one step Polaroid 😁
