In this video, I rank my Amouage fragrance collection from worst to best. Amouage is known for being one of the best niche fragrance houses with strong and unique scents, and I've spent a lot of time exploring their offerings. Today, I'll be sharing my thoughts on each fragrance, discussing their scent profiles, longevity, and where they fit in my personal ranking.

The performance of Reflection 45 is superb - 10 hours plus.
I sold my first bottle because I only noticed the scent very close to the skin.
I bought another one and then it clicked.
2 sprays are enough, those around you will notice you for hours.
Very warm, vanilla, spicy drydown, incredibly good.
After 20 minutes it doesn't have much in common with the original, a unique scent. ✌

Amazing video,Thank you.Amouage is one of my favourite houses.I own Reflection ,Epic ,Beach hut,Honour,Iterlude,Intrlude black iris and Jubilation XXV.Reflection 45 definitely will be my next purchase.I've been wearing the Beach Hut to work every day for the last few months, it's perfect during the hot Dubai summer.

@@SethFragrance Unfortunately after having 2 bottles of Jubilation 25, and my friend confirmed the same, you didnt mention Jubilation xxv ( 25) has virtually no sillage, close skin strength projection and lasts 2-3 hrs..divine scent, most glorious scent, with no balls..unlike 95% of other amouage scents..this is a top niche house though
This is such a fantastic review! I have a few different Amouage fragrances and they are all exceptional. However, I found it rather interesting that your thoughts on a couple were exactly the same as mine! Boundless for example smelling rather like Tom Ford TV. That said Tobacco Vanille is a masterpiece which i adore. Boundless i found to be a little to spicy and the dry down i did not find so pleasant. Another i found verging on offensive being Interlude! The oregano in the opening was too much!!
Reflection and Jubilation xxv however I find are truly gorgeous!

I currently own four 100-ml bottles (Interlude 53, Beloved, Overture, Enclave) and three 10-ml travel sprays (Black Iris, Beach Hut, Reflection). They are all amazing, creative, very different from each other, but some are, of course, not versatile at all. It will probably take me decades to use up the Interlude 53. The Amouage bottles and travel sprays are top quality and really look nice on any fragrance shelf.
I have been debating on Enclave for a while! And yes you're right, the bottles are top quality and looks amazing in any collection
Overture is by far my favorite amouage so strong probably a very unique niche fragrance that got a really good vibe to it LOVE IT

Indeed, Amouage is no slouch. My wife and daughters dislike most of the Amouage that I own, but I love them and wear them often. My absolute favorites are:
Interlude Black Iris
Boundless
Overture
Royal Tobacco
Jubilation
They're truly statement-makers. Interlude Black Iris just seems to work beautifully on my skin, as I receive compliments for it every time, without fail; few dislike it. I guess it also just fits my personality.
I also get very polarized reactions for Overture - some love it, others hate it.
Royal Tobacco always gets me very puzzeled reactions. No one ever seems to love or hate it. So many are surprised it's a fragrance; the most common response is that it's "interesting". I'm in love with it.

Wow you have an amazing taste for scents and i found amouage is an excellent niche house. I have 3 amouage perfumes ; reflection 45, overture man, and beach hut, which happen to be within your top 4 choices. Now after watching your video I feel like want to buy jubilation 25 since your taste is kinda agree with mine. I would consider to put overture woman , guidance and maybe honor into your top 20. I think man can also wear those since they are all unisex although leaning towards feminine side. I also agree with you there not many fragrances are quite good in term of quality compared to amouage. I recently discovered amber fougere and town and city from clive christian. I think those 2 fragrances can compete with top 5 amouages for men. I am just a newbie here learning from you. Subscribed.

Thanks so much for a really interesting ranking! Your passion for the house really shows and i appreciated your explanations for each, especially those i havent tried yet (still haven't gotten around to the really old ones or clear bottle fougere type frags from amouage)
As a boundless enjoyer it's always a little sad seeing amouage diehards all rate it so low haha 😢😂 admittedly I started testing and experiencing the brand very recently, but even after going through almost all of their current catalog its still one of my standouts from them. I guess there was a lot of polarizing pushback when the creative direction changed and I understand that it can make a ton of longtime enjoyers of the brand be disappointed by it. That being said i still find it amazing and still unique enough from its sweetened tobacco competitors like the designers or even roja enigma -the resinous backbone makes it so "chewy" to me in comparison in a way that sets it apart.
Aside from that one outlier my opinions with these lists seem pretty in-line and i agree with a ton of it. My favorites are all of the interludes, memoir, overture, jubilation, and boundless in no particular order. I need more time with journey as well because i really liked it when i had a brief sampling, and i really wish myths was still in production because i think it's such a characteristic and somber fragrance that brings a really well represented "gothic" vibe to me, which i can only vaguely get from interlude black iris and memoir to my nose.
Memoir is definitely on my to try list! I also really enjoy boundless and can see myself reaching for it a lot in winter but something had to be last🥲
I do envy your collection 😅 (only 3 Amouage, yet, Imitation, Interlude Black Iris and royal tobacco. And I love all of them. Beach hug is on my radar though 🧐)

Thanks for doing this, I'm keen to increase my Amourage scents as I only have 2 right now, and they are Beloved Man and Interlude, I'm keen to get more just in case they do eventually sell out to L'Oréal, I know the official line is they only want a minority stake at this time, but who knows, and if they do take over, there is no way they will continue to use the same quality of ingredients.
Yes let’s hope that Amouage can hold out on a L’Oréal deal for as long as possible😂

I'm getting Jubilation next FOR SURE! I also will get Reflection 45, sounds a lot more interesting than the normal Reflection which I liked but didn't love. Journey and Beach Hut too... Still afraid of Overture but so intrigued haha. I am becoming such an Amouage fan just after trying and owning Lyric Man, Imitation Man and Interlude Man Black Iris I've been OBSESSED, and your review was super helpful! ❤

@SethFragrance I LOVE Imitation, it's such an interesting, original and unusual scent. It does give a vinyl record scent after the opening dries down and I love that. I have dressed it up in a traditional way with a sleek elegant look, and also more streetwear with a wet look vinyl puffer jacket, boots and parachute pants and it just works, it's one of those scents that can be super versatile and pull off elegant and put together and more "trendy" statement fashionable looks... I'm gonna need a backup hahaha, totally obsessed with Imitation, so good! And it was a blind buy!!
And here I am not liking a single amouage perfume except maybe interlude ! Good video nontheless :)

Very nice presentation ! I have to say that am not a fan of the new releases. I would defenetely change from Black Iris to Interlude OG . The oregano is the best note on this frag. My top 5 are Lyric, Jubilation, Imitation , Reflection and Interlude OG folowed by DIa , Bracken , beach Hut , Journey and beloved man. Myths Man needs balls to pull off and does not get the hype it should . I lately got Search and i quite like it but it still far from the top stars!

Good top 5 list too! Are you thinking about picking up anymore from Amouage, I have been on the fence about getting a newer release such as meander or enclave but boundless has thrown me off slightly with blind buying newer releases

Imitation definitely makes me think of vinyl records, that and lyric are pleasant rose scents. I think out of all of them, Journey Man is my most worn, next to that probably Figment Man, Overture Man and Interlude 53 (for when I'm feeling particularly brave). I also enjoy Fate and for spring/summer Beach Hut is fantastic - smells like rain on the ivy.
I really don't enjoy reflection or jubilation (neither the original, XXV or 40 last on me for more than 30 minutes) so different strokes for different folks.

@@SethFragrance Figment is a bit soil-like for some. Very aggressive at the start, but then it smells like nature. Rainy season in a Bhutan forest is very accurate description.
@@beebot I’ve picked up a bottle of figment and yeah it’s very soiley smelling😂 I thought Bracken had an almost soil like smell but figment is much dirtier smelling😅

which one is a better compliment getter for you? reflection or reflection 45? I would have thought reflection because like you said it should project better / have better sillage than reflection 45.
From my experience, it has been original reflection (I have had it a bit longer though and worn it out more)

I also love Amouage, Overture Man is truly amazing, and Jubilation is so good, though a little poor performance on me, but the one that is my all time No 1 is without hesitation Gold Man, nothing is better tham Gold, in my opinion. I usually do anywhere between 3-6 sprays from Amouage.

Obsessed with Amouage and have tons, but Reflection smells like cheap designer perfume on my skin.
Really? To me it smells like a kings purple robes and has a really high quality jasmine smell! Some people do compare it to be similar to JPG le male which could be the comparison

I can’t give you an exact price but for the vintage amouage, first I would suggest joining some forums or Facebook groups for amouage fans for a bit more information. I have seen ‘silver’ the same packaging as yours go for $500 brand new but I am not sure if it did actually sell
Being a fan of Amouage, it surprised me you are not mentioning anything from the Woman line. There is no Steak pour Homme or Hamburger for Woman. It is just marketing and you are missing out. Really, get Epic Woman, Memoir Woman and Overture Woman and give the rest of the Woman line a try as well. I’ll bet you’ll love them.

How do you deal with bad batches before making a purchase. I bought Kenzo Homme Edp which is suppoaed to be a beast mode fragrance. I really like the scent and looking forward to use it as my signature but it’s performance is just moderate, so How could I’ve known this is issue before buying without sampling. (Sample sites are mostly fakes in Turkey, so I avoid them.) Also can you recommend us a good batch fragrance that in your opinion deserves it’s price below 250£
I will often watch other review videos first on UA-cam and either sample through reputable sellers of decants in Facebook groups. If that’s not an option, going to a fragrance store and sampling is another good idea.
I’d say the current batches of overture, reflection and black iris are really good for performance

Sadly, half this list is discontinued, and Amouage is in talks to be taken over by L'oreal. I don't trust them at this point, and I know everything will get watered down after the takeover.

Jubilation 40 is not as good as the XXV. Many fragrance reviewers have also made this point. This is unlike Reflection, where the newer 45 is better than the OG.
@dreday77764 so I guess it's unanimous then. No need for anyone else to smell it, sample it, review it, and rank it. Enough of the reviewers out there made it official. We can let Amouage know to discontinue it.

It’s definitely not the worst! I actually really really like it, the only problem is to me it’s not daring enough. It’s quite ‘designery’ I put it last just because it has been the only one in my Amouage collection that hasn’t blown me away. But something had to go in the last spot, but it’s still an amazing fragrance
