hey pat, surf the rocket wide, spinetek, 5'7 and set up as quad since day 1 - soooo good, really works well, did try for 1 surf a thruster, next surf back to the quad and can not rate this set up on the rocket wide square tail, especially in average waves. The quad fins are actually the fcs 1 kelly slater fins - really are so good, love the board and have been super stoked on the feel and slightly different lines, plus when going through power carves, both frontside and backside, it feels so connected, really like it and would certainly say this is a board that kinda can surf everything from good smallish days to even the junky not so good days and makes you feel you can still shortboard
Looks like it would go great as a thruster.
Just got a fever, first Merry ever. Psyching
In terms of “pivotability “ maybe ask them to make you one where the trailing fins are closer to the stringer than the rail, see what you think
I’m ordering a quad right now haha
Let us know how it goes!!!!
@@tannergud He did not let us know haha
Still waiting amigo
2:14 eyeing the lip or let it go... snarf
I'd be into a rocket wide in quad and spine tek
What fins are you using pat ?!?
Quads feel more like a skateboard.
...mixed with a skimboard.
