I'm looking for a tire that will provide lots of grip and traction for plowing snow. It doesn't hurt if I can use it year round for wooded east coast trails.

I've bought 2 sets of Terrabites for 2 different machines and had trouble with them leaking around the bead on both machines. It's no fun to air up tires every day.

I like that RMATV has tire and wheel packages....but, you don't offer them in all sizes. For example, I wanted 32" Tusk Terrabites on Tusk 15" wheels for my Honda Talon 1000R but your website will only allow that combination in a 30" tire. I talked to RMATV and they said the combination was a valid one and that lots of folks run them that way. Just wish I could have experienced the simplicity of purchasing the tire/wheel combo I wanted without having to go through all the legwork (so to speak). Just a suggestion to possibly offer more combinations. All that being said, thanks for the great video and I definitely appreciate RMATV!
It turns out the BFG KM3 is an incredible tire! Sand, dirt, hard pack, rocks and snow. This tire is amazing. No mud in these parts, and wouldn't play in it if there was, so no comment on mud performance. They are smooth riding, quiet, wear great and just flat out work. BFG knows how to build a performance off road tire!
I do a lot of Asphalt also most of my riding is on asphalt so i would like to know what tires would last longer....also and if i ant on asphalt i am in mud and drit rocks .... Live in Middle,TN ..
My lawn is big and steep in some places. The “tires” that come with my riding mowers just aren’t meant for any areas that aren’t flat. So I put atv tires on all my mowers, problem mowing solved. Cost a little more than the regular tires, but worth much more.
Can these tires be used on 4x4 ATV's as well? I'm looking for something that won't tear up the lawn when I'm hauling stuff around the yard, but also want something that good on the trails.
The Terrabites and Mongrels offer a good range of sizes. Another tire to consider for your ATV is the Maxxis Cero. I have them on one of my ATVs. Very smooth rolling radial tire, good traction on hard pack.
Look, I'd be lying if I said we weren't biased toward the Terrabite, but it is a really good tire. It does well in just about all conditions, lasts a long time, and the price is awesome. The Mongrel is another really good tire that would be great for what you're looking for. - Chase
i went with the tire wheel package builder picked out may four rims and tires received my first two on shipping date packaging poorly done big scratch in rim received only one tire next day took rocky mountain over a weak to respond said they would send me new rim when i did get may new rim and tire it was the wrong rim there shipping department is completely incompetent
Big difference a larger wheel will have a rougher ride because of short sidewall on the tire but will Corner way better than a small wheel because you will have less sidewall to flex , if you have small wheels big tires it will ride smoother but Corner worse if you are going to do a lot of bumpy off-road I would recommend smaller wheel you can also air them down to climb over stuff.
There are people doing it and loving it and they say they last forever check out m3 offroad he sounds exactly like the Pineapple Express guy it will trip you out when he talks.
This video was filmed well over a month ago and we have almost completely shut down our video filming over the last few weeks to help get orders to customers. Myself, the entire video team, our entire marketing team, and pretty much every employee we can spare, is working long days in the warehouse, packaging orders, and taking phone calls to help get customer orders out. During this COVID-19, we've had to adhere to local and state mandates, maintain social distancing, things that have made it difficult to keep up. Our freight companies won't allow expedited shipping because they're also trying to play catch up. Contrary to what many might think, we've been the busiest we've ever been over the last few months and have even gone to 24 hour operation to help our customers out. So yes, orders are taking longer to get to customers and we apologize for that. But no, it's not because we're filming videos. Have a nice day. - Chase
I understand. As a customer, I would be a little frustrated as well. We just wish customers would try to understand the circumstances vs telling people to not shop with us. It's all good. We hope your order gets to you soon. Have a great Memorial day weekend. - Chase
So you guys spent all kinds of time developing the Terrabite huh? So that's why it's just a copy of the Kanati Mongrel? Your R&D guys must have the cushiest job in the world!
I have owned both, and the Terrabyte is a better tire all around. The Mongrel has lost its luster they are out of balance and still have a weak sidewall.

Tusk tires all the way terrabites go real good on the dirt and pavement with dot rating. And they will last a long time. All maxxis tires are junk way to soft. Soft tire should have soft price 80 dollar tire they charging 180 for thats as much as a 40k tire crazy people actually throw there money away on them. Pretty bad when you buy a utv and first thing you have to do is get rid of the poo poo horns bighorns just spin on dirt no traction soft crap that wont last go over 50 on pavement and they feel like there going to explode. Guaranteed to go flat when you need them most. Maxxis tried to make a dot tire with the libertys but failed miserably to soft to pass a dot test and wont last long at all. Dont waste your money on maxxis tires go tusk all the way. Holeshots proved bighorns sucked in the 90s and they still put them on all stock utvs. Tusk needs to sign with can am so we can get a good tire right off the get go.

Best road riding tire?
I've bought 2 sets of Terrabites for 2 different machines and had trouble with them leaking around the bead on both machines. It's no fun to air up tires every day.
Should try some Meyers tire lube, makes mounting easy and helps seal those slow bead leaks.
M1 evil? What’s y’all opinion
Where are you located ? If I want to go to …say a 30” tire do you recommend a lift kit for a rzr 1000 ?
We are located in Payson, Utah. You can enter your machines year, make and model on our website and it will show you the biggest tire options you can fit on your machine without modifications.

I once used bias ITP tires on a Ranger for hard pack desert exploring where sidewall punctures were a common hazard. Any suggestions for a new Talon 4 seater I am considering buying?
I have a 2019 Polaris Ranger 500. 25x8x12 and 25x10x12. Looking to get bigger tires and want the tusk terrabites. How big can I go with no mods? Also what about 14" wheels with no mods?
Chase seems a like really cool dude. I wanna buy him a beer.
What about the km3 for UTV's
I've selected the Carnivors for my new 2020 Honda P1K5 Deluxe; What is the maximum tire size I can select without a lift kit??
Some people have gotten away with bigger but the tallest tire size we can recommend on a stock Pioneer 1000-5 is a 28".
Looking for a 26 or 27 inch tire for 15 inch wheels any chance?
Unfortunately we only have 28" and larger tires available for a 15" wheel.
Just ordered some BFG KM3. Any durometer numbers on those?
Very good tire.
I liked my KM3 for trail and road riding but I think my terribites are better in thicker mud.
Will the terrabites be good on a stock 2020 rzr xp 1000 turbo??
Yes they will! We have them on our XP Pro here at the shop now and we've also had them on the Turbo S and they perform great.
@@rmatvmc what about the 32 on the stock rzr will it mess up the stock clutch and belt??
I have had terrabites and liked them but that motovator looks great. Decisions decisions
I have a 2014 Arctic Cat 700 TRV LTD ATV. I spend 95% of my time on asphalt. What's the longest wearing tire out there for the road? Thanks
Supergrip k9 you didn't mention love mine
Can these tires be used on 4x4 ATV's as well? I'm looking for something that won't tear up the lawn when I'm hauling stuff around the yard, but also want something that good on the trails.
Yes they can. If you can find them in the size you need.
The Terrabites and Mongrels offer a good range of sizes. Another tire to consider for your ATV is the Maxxis Cero. I have them on one of my ATVs. Very smooth rolling radial tire, good traction on hard pack.
Thanks for the breakdown guys!!
What would you guys recommend for mostly trails but some mud and lots of gravel roads?
Look, I'd be lying if I said we weren't biased toward the Terrabite, but it is a really good tire. It does well in just about all conditions, lasts a long time, and the price is awesome. The Mongrel is another really good tire that would be great for what you're looking for. - Chase
Has anyone had experience with interco sniper 920 dot tire?
should do this for 4x4 atvs as well.
That's a great idea. Thank you for the input!
Excellent
Should look at AMS M1 evils love them ...they do it all 8ply dot
Good content! Currently running Tenson!!!!
I just got the 370 tires
i went with the tire wheel package builder picked out may four rims and tires received my first two on shipping date packaging poorly done big scratch in rim received only one tire next day took rocky mountain over a weak to respond said they would send me new rim when i did get may new rim and tire it was the wrong rim there shipping department is completely incompetent
Do a kx100 review
What are the Pros and Cons of replacing factory 12” wheels with 14” wheels?
Big difference a larger wheel will have a rougher ride because of short sidewall on the tire but will Corner way better than a small wheel because you will have less sidewall to flex , if you have small wheels big tires it will ride smoother but Corner worse if you are going to do a lot of bumpy off-road I would recommend smaller wheel you can also air them down to climb over stuff.
I’m new and have more money than knowledge right now... lol
Can we run a truck tire on a UTV wheel?
There are people doing it and loving it and they say they last forever check out m3 offroad he sounds exactly like the Pineapple Express guy it will trip you out when he talks.
nice info- thanks
Ok, I'm sorry, just wanted you to know how that looks from here, thanks
- Chase
I love my 30 inch carnivores on my yxz
So you guys spent all kinds of time developing the Terrabite huh? So that's why it's just a copy of the Kanati Mongrel? Your R&D guys must have the cushiest job in the world!
I have owned both, and the Terrabyte is a better tire all around. The Mongrel has lost its luster they are out of balance and still have a weak sidewall.
@@rodneysessions7463 the Terrabyte may have a better construction, but the R & D guys still just copied the Mongrels tread design.
Went to your website. Price looks great until the unsuspecting consumer realized they've been duped. The price is for two wheels and tires, NOT four. Do you know any UTVs with only two wheels? Interesting, neither do I. Buyer beware.
😢😢😂😂😂
Send me a barring carrier and a barring set for. 2003 Honda trx 400 ex..plz I want to go ripping and start a moto vlog I just got a GoPro..T0a0r0 caslan AB Canada box 175...
Its cheaper and IMHO easier to just run truck tires
I've got the mongrel and I have to say, performs well but I can't even get 2000 miles on them. Durability is bad. If you ride alot is asphalt to trails then stay away.
