- Watch as we haul 3 loads of cattle to the sale barn in Salina, KS, even though the coronavirus changed our original plan.

Welcome to Peterson Family Farm. On this UA-cam channel, we plan to show viewers what happens on a real life family farm in Kansas. From working with animals, to planting seeds, to harvesting grain, to putting up hay, to fixing equipment, you'll get to see what farming is like! Our farm is a 5th generation farm started in 1882 by our great great grandparents. We grow wheat, corn, soybeans, milo, sunflowers, and forages and we feed about 1,000 head of cattle. To learn more about it, watch our channel intro video here: • Welcome to Our New You...

This video was awesome! So great to actually see you load and unload the cattle and to learn about how and when to sell cattle. Loving your videos!

Hi you guys signed my pliers at the Oakley fair!
I remember my Dad taking me to the sale barn in Salina when I was little. Doesn't look like it's changed very much in 30+ years.
Informative video. Ya'll do a good job of videoing and working at the same time. Hope the price were good, although I hate paying for it at the grocery store. lol. Stay safe.
friendship1957 Farmer only gets a fraction of what we have to pay in grocery . Packers take biggest profit by far .
That a Merritt trailer?? I used to haul cattle back in the 80 s and 90s!! Drove for Republican Valley cattle feeders out of Scandia!!!
I miss the ranch life I loved it so much! Thank you Petersonfamilyfarms for bringing back great memories! I am about to be 35 in a couple of weeks! And the last time I lived on a ranch, I was about 19 or 20!
Never been to a sale barn where you had to unload your own cattle. All the ones around here unload for you and get them tagged as soon as they’re off the trailer.
That pot needs a good shoveling cattle look good
Unloaded some bred heifers at that barn a couple of years ago.
Ain't no feeling like cow mobiling!
I worked there for over a year every day about 10 years ago
I like you truck it a working truck .
the 26th was my birthday
How often do you clean your trailers
Are they heading for feedlots
Were most these yearlings and open cows?
Is the dip stick on the right on those trucks? My truck at work is a 2019 Cascadia and it has the dip stick on the driver side.
Hey y’all need a driver over there c’mon
Where y’all from
So did you get a good price then?
Wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst either. Average!
