One of the most beautiful sermons I have heard. Thank you for making yourself available to Hod, Fr. Mike.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏 Lord God, may Your words and true Gospel life be rooted deep, deep in our souls so we can find our purpose, love those in front of us, be kind to the unwanted of this world, and be a a light in the darkness. Prayers for those of us who struggle to find a place where we mean something to someone. Prayers for those who want to end it by taking their own life. May they find the love of Jesus and give their pain to you; finding purpose in service like so many saints who have gone before us. 🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐🛐
Thank you Father Mike. Your sermons are always timely. I feel lonely and useless especially since I've become ill. I have turned and leaned more on God.
Fr Mike, I want to thank you for these masses. I’m practically homebound and live with a very dysfunctional family. I feel like a burden, and that I don’t have much to offer to society and the world a lot of the time. Being able to attend mass with you every Sunday helps-s -s remind me that I matter to God, he’s sees me and knows me. I love your ministry and pray for y’all all the time. I just wanted to let you know. 🙏💜🙏🌹 50:48
Happy Birthday Mother Mary❤. Thank you for all your prayers. Pls cont to pray for me n my fam n inlaws. Bless, heal n protect us n bring all my fam members bk to Catholic faith

Amazing I think I have heard the best homily in the past and today he bests them all! God bless you Fr. and your endeavor to build the chapel for the students. It is my pleasure to donate monthly a small amount but I thank God I am able to do so.
You matter a lot to me Fr. Mike. I know we’ve never met. But every Sunday, I come to your mass virtually. I listen to your bible in a year pod cast every day. If it wasn’t for you, I don’t know if i ever would have truly found religion. I would just be a person who says “i was raised catholic but i don’t know.” You have so much love for God and that love is inspiring. It makes me want to love him like you do. To understand like you do. And i am in a season in my life where I am horribly lonely. Im surrounded by friends and family, but I feel so isolated. Im working 60 hours a week, my husband lives in another state, and I’m not getting along with anyone. You’re kind of the only real constant in my life. And I know I’m not alone in this. You matter a lot to many different people. So i never want to hear you say you don’t have anything to offer ever again 🥹
I am thankful for this message. I am a 45 year old woman, wife, mother of 4, and a nurse. I always care for others yet I often don’t for myself. I don’t have friends. I have coworkers and church acquaintances. I used to get lonely but I have learned to have peace with the alone times when I’m not caring for my family and others. I am not Catholic but your messages speak to my heart. I’m actually missing church today where I sing on our worship team because I’m ill today and not going to share my germs.
46 Father of 2 same here. my heart aches for the physical therapy that comes in holding hands of a loved ones I will go months without even a single touch from another person I pray for the day when we care for one another in unity May the Lord our God give you and yours blessings ♾
Fr. Mike, your message today was so profound. I grew up in a home where my parents struggled to support five children. I feel my father felt that he had nothing to offer us as he worked hard to support his family. Never once did I hear him complain about the burdens and heartaches of life. All I recall only a few times was his need to be a good example to his family. Such a deep-seated gift that was! You said, I believe, that you feel that you have nothing to offer but Father, you don’t realize that it is by YOUR own good example that we see how we are to live for Christ. You are not just a priest that says Mass - you PRAY the Holy Mass as a true offering to Christ. We see Christ’s light shining through you and your homilies touch not only our hearts but reaches our very souls, much like the homily today. Satan is the great deceiver. Do not let his deceit lay a trap into your heart and mind. God blessed you mightily with your gifts and personality that reaches more people in this world than you can imagine. Continue to be a light in this world of darkness and continue to be the great example in our lives so that in our meager efforts, we may be able to emulate you and your holiness. May God grant you all the strength and grace you need to continue His might work!
When I teach some students have behavior sheets to watch their progress daily. I have a cell phone I use only for work and for those students I send a picture of the students progress to the parent or guardian everyday and just that 5 minutes of connection with their parent supports positive growth for that child. It's amazing. People are dying for connections now. God be with us.
Good morning Fr Mike 🙏 Prayers for all my family members and friends and for God’s protection for all the Firefighters and all the families that are in this difficult Fire
Father Mike Schimtz I am thankful for how you remind us there is a greater aim in life. Thank you for modeling what it means to live for the sake of God’s kingdom and not our own. You have reminded us that the most important thing is that we live for Christ-no matter what comes our way. In a culture that tells us to live for ourselves, you have shown us that there is a better way. God bless keep you and all parishioners safe
I offer this mass for all of the souls in purgatory all of the children that have no family to feel the love of God I also pray for my dads addiction to find an end my mom to have peace in her heart and my sister to be able to get pregnant for my brother in law to believe in Jesus Christ and for my sister to get closer to you and never struggle since she’s alone I also pray that my bf gets closer to you God and for me to never grow apart from you and by the grace and help of God I am able to get my first car Amen
Thank you for the mass. As an international pilot, there are times when I cannot participate in the celebration of mass in person, and I depend on this to sustain me. God bless!
Prior to my retirement, I was a successful productive RN. Now I'm deaf( yes,I can relate to today's Gospel) currently recovering from a left hip replacement and have chronic digestive issues due to stomach cancer surgery. I needed to hear Father Mike's words today. God bless everyone here who feels invisible.
@@KathleenBanfield Kathleen, said a prayer for you this evening, God give you strength and strong faith to know that He is with you. We do get strength when we offer up our suffering. God Bless you.🙏🏽❤️
This is one of the best sermons I have heard. The words ‘you matter’ are so powerful. I am involved with a suicide group in my area and this is their message. You Matter. This group was created when an 18 year old/young man committed suicide. How so many of us would just love him back to say, you matter. Personally I am 69 and dealing with multiple disabilities. As stated in your sermon sometimes I feel like I haven’t anything to offer. But I will keep this mass and go back to your sermon as I think others should do just to be reminded that You Matter. Thank you Fr. Mike, and You Matter as well. God bless you.
Father Mike you have a lot to offer. I have read the bible in the past but I have not learned so much until the pandemic and I found you and a year in a podcast and you taught me so much about the bible and I am passing it on. Thank you so much! 💓

Thank you, Father Mike. Your sermons are the best. I actually attended a memorial of a friend several months ago and made a youtube video about this very topic. I created the video in the hope that it may help others. 🙏🏻 Take Care.
They see .. they just don't like what they "see". Either they judge, or they have a reaction, usually jealousy, or greed. We must discern the truth by praying ( asking for guidance) and listening . Loneliness can then be replaced by understanding, compassion, and wisdom. The truth shall set you free.
Peace be. Let us pray for all Americans North, Central and South being met daily with the face of Jesus Christ to choose to be or not to be with him. Especially all high officials being tempted by evil to sit on it's deadly thrones and needing deliverance from evil as the idea of obtaining the throne of God or next to him is secured for them. Amen 4:56 . Deadly sins be placed by the congregation of The Catholic Church at the feet of Jesus Christ. Amen

Thank you, Father Mike. Your sermons are the best. I actually attended a memorial of a friend several months ago and made a youtube video about this very topic. Let me know if you'd like the link to it. I don't want to post without your permission. I was intrigued by this myself and learned a lot. I created the video in the hope that it may help others. 🙏🏻 Take Care.
💙 Lose your soul in God's love (there's no other way) 💙
They see .. they just don't like what they "see". Either they judge, or they have a reaction, usually jealousy, or greed.
We must discern the truth by praying ( asking for guidance) and listening .
Loneliness can then be replaced by understanding, compassion, and wisdom.
The truth shall set you free.
It would be nice to include a prayer for those suffering in Gaza.

Amen
