I usually get the hang of these things as I build them. Avo and one other creator are the ones I follow most all the time. Sometimes due to "real life things" I fall behind - but I finally get to catch up and see what they have been up to. I just really enjoy Minecraft - and Avo plus one. Thanks Avo - lots for me to work with for a while! :-)
That is going to make some farms even more valuable. I like how you had to change the overflow chest into a barrel, lol. All the new things for people to create with this single added block.
@@MrMunchman69 Avo is always fun to watch! The item sorter is one I learned from impulseSV and have been using since forever ago. What I was talking about was the way the signal for the crafters was done. I've been using the composter method. I might switch over to using a second crafter to control the signal now.
very helpful Avo 😅 i needed a brush up on an item sorter. and i didn't realise the crafter produces a signal. This new gadget has soooo much potential ❤
Well done on the explaining, as always. Sucks that on console we can't see composted level, but you made it so we can navigate the understanding of what we're looking at and how to read the system in totality. Thank you!
I like the description and explanation but the autocrafters are needlessly complicated. I play on a server that has an autocrafter. All it needs is a dropper with an item frame on one side of it and the item you want it to craft in the frame. That it. No redstone, nothing else. Just one block to do the same thing this overcomplicated system does. Have no clue why Mojang decided you needed to be some sort of redstone user to use an autocrafter. NOTE: I am not criticizing Avo. I greatly appreciate his explanation and I'll probably end up using his video if the mod on my server isn't updated to the new version. .
Can I ask, what is the autocrafter mod? I'm a mod horder. ;) I do love my mods, but it's so much fun to figure out the best way to do the same thing with vanilla.

@@thebunter Thanks so much. I've used spigot in the past but had some issues that soured me on it. I usually stick to base fabric or neoforge mods. I appreciate the help though!
secondary i was looking through the comments, and a redstone tutorial video might go down well. the more people know about redstone and how it all works, the more amazing machines can be created 😇
Ah, Mr. Avo, I have watched this video three times over the last 2 days (sorry it's taken me that long to comment but I wanted to be certain) and, while I could easily copy it block for block (due to your excellent step-by-step instructions), I still have no idea how this works or even why it works! I'm not blaming you, I am the first to admit that I'm a total dunce when it comes to redstone. I'm sorry to be a downer on one of your videos, I know you try very hard to make things clear and concise. I feel like I've failed a friend. BUT, thank you, Sir, for trying to help us with something new.
It just means that if you run a redstone signal/pulse into it, it will change state. Place a button on the bulb, press it once, and it turns on and stays on. Press the button again and it turns off and stays off. Having a toggle state like this is really useful in machines - it can tell the machine (and you) if something is on or off, if something has passed by or has yet to pass by, if you're on an upswing or a downswing of some part of the machine, etc. Lots of uses, and now it's just a single block instead of a circuit made up of several blocks.
Thank you for explaining the comparator! It finally makes sense to me! Redstone isn't going to be as big of a confusing mess because of those silly components! 🥲

Nice circuit setup to determine if the crafter is full and ready for a pulse - thank you! Nice idea to pair it with a sorter for the farm.
Thanks for all the research on the crafter. This is going to be a great addition to my game.
Great video. Keep up the great work Avo

That seems to be the main way I use my crafters... iron farms and gold farms to save space.
Love your design! Definitely going to try this.
Avo does a very superb job at build tutorials. That is built with an item sorter he made a tutorial for years ago.

The update is going to make farms insane...auto crafting will change everything ...keep the info coming Avo!!! Thanks
Those crafters are a game changer

it really does!!
Thank you this was perfect, and getting red dye is a nice little bonus. 👍🤝❤️
You’re welcome 😊

its a great idea!
why is my hopper at the very bottom feeding into the crafter not putting the iron into it?

Iron red dye and bone meal
