Actually this Lords pitch was not a fast one. It was up and down with uneven bounce, and that uneven bounce is what makes it hard to negotiate sometimes especially when facing bouncers at Archer's pace. Some deliveries bounce, some don't bounce much and just skid through. That causes indecision for the batsman.
That is as close as it gets to a Phil Hughes repeat! Man, that edge of the grill barely saved the man from a fatal blow. No wonder, England, didn't use Archer more, once he returned.
