- I found some GoPro footage on an old hard drive from 7 or 8 years ago of riding my motorcycle on the Million Dollar Hwy. This sure does bring back some good memories. This was back before I started pulling a trailer for camping behind my bike. So all my camping gear was loaded on my bike. Hope you enjoy it!

This video was so amazing. My dad was the equipment supervisor for Green Constructing Co. Back in the 70s, They dug out the dirt for the Ouray State Park Dam. Did you go swim in the Hot Springs Pool there in Ouray? Thank you for this. I'm going to share it with my dad.
Thanks Robert! I didn't swim in the hot springs. Every time I've been to Ouray I just passed through. I want go back and spend like a full week in the area. It all looks so amazing.

Appreciate the video. Was able to take advantage of a mild Christmas and get a 3,000 jaunt to Florida and back just before the snow and frigid temps started. But the Bike is plugged in and going nowhere anytime soon. Great watch
I feel for ya Dude. It's not as cold down here in Texas but much cooler the last couple weeks. Several below freezing nights. I'm hoping to do a little motorcycle camping in a couple weeks for my birthday. I just hope our weather holds out for it.

I have been over that thing a few times in a big truck pulling a 48' flatbed hauling building supplies. You talk about a pucker factor, my back and shoulders would ache for a couple of days after. Also a couple of those trips were in the snow. Not fun! I have also ridden it on my dual sport bike while on the Trans American Trail. What a highway!
In the snow would be a big no for me. But I'm from Texas. We shut down the whole state if we get 2 inches of snow.
Also I've only rode from Silverton to Ouray. I've never ridden from Ouray to Silverton where I would be on the cliff side.
