Gorgeous film. Diving deep into the difficulties of running a small team. On par with the Netflix f1 show for emotional impact… and with a lot less money. As an editor and biker I also love seeing the filmmaking as part of the story. Unsung part of every Video/film we love. Editors never sleep!
The quality of work on these... obviously you can't plan race results and the behavior of the team members but the work of camera crew and the editing team is mind blowing. Best story telling in the game right here.

I don’t like pinkbike. Well I didn’t before Ben Cathro. I have been a member of the site for a good while, bought bikes from their classifieds, consume their content from race coverage to bike reviews and always considered pinkbike as simply a poster child for the industry. I consider their point of view, in the main, to be pompous and elitist. Which alienates the everyday man like myself. I love bikes, always have. They have been big part of my life, all of my life so far. I can nerd out on them and drool over them but on a much, much more humble level. I applaud the powers that be at pinkbike for taking a chance with Ben. For letting him run and wing it a bit. This is actually what real life is like; its not some pre planned concepts drawn up by a corporate board based on market research, statistics, blah, blah, blah. The pleasure we get out of bikes comes from the heart, its a passion. Its about pure stoke at an accessible level and sharing that stoke with others. Ben comes across as an everyday man; with a dream and a willingness to achieve; and this is his value. I wish the industry valued this sector more. It is the cornerstone. Please remember that there is no industry without a market. The high end will always be there; but it won’t be for long if you ignore the grass roots. Everyday man’s simple desire to “run what ya brung” and aspire to be the best with what ya got. Please take your lead from Ben and the attitude he represents. Thanks Ben, for including “us”…

Perspective changes a lot when you are mentoring youth as you yourself get older. Having to balance developing their performance with them still being kids and also the fact that you are responsible for their well being in a high-risk sport. That has to weigh on Ben and co., but it is worth it when they accomplish something amazing like that! Big props on the quality of the series so far, especially the storytelling and production.
