@@jacksbackable So were we , but when we really thought about it we think they propbaly would not have enjoyed it. They are more action orintated and fast food then landcape and nature. Anyway although we were very dissapointed at the start we ended up having the trip of a life time.
I saw the tour on Longreach's site and was totally impressed with your design and thought process. Its really a great design. Will you have a hybrid drive system?
I too, love the design, but I would opt for Beta Marine hybrid motors. Also add more solar panels over the deck outside the flybridge. I would be interested in knowing your final costing, as this is something we are looking forward to doing in about 3 years 😀
@@ewavideo7440 Agreed, they are doing a foiling model and also a hybrid engine option but its $900 k US extra which is a lot of fuel. We have looked and resurched very long and hard at this and dont believe there is a good reliable system out there yet. Our thought was to get out there efficiently as possible and when we think someone has somthing maybe change it out then. Our final costings ex factory are around $2.5 AU there may have been some price rise since we ordered

@@jacksbackable Yes thats right, unfortuately they both pulled out before we hit the Kimberely coast. The plan had been to do it together for saftey.

No unfotunately, but we can add a later date if we think the technology gets better.
