Historic Night for UTRGV Women's Sports

It was a historic night for UTRGV Athletics as October 3, 2024, will be etched in school history as both Volleyball and Women's Soccer earned their first victory as official members of the Southland. UTRGV Women's Soccer earned a 1-0 win over Houston Christian as Savannah Frisby scored from a corner kick play in the 50th minute and the defense held the clean sheet to preserve all points at home.
