Like why would she leave? she's clearly challenged herself enough to get to the top of the sport, she’s already playing at the highest level. even if Arsenal have unperformed in recent years, they have always invested in their womens team and its got her to this point: she's won the fa cup, won the league, she's captaining England, won silverware with England. And she's only… 26? 27? Not even in her prime yet as a defender really. As far as she's concerned she wants to stay at home to continue to push the levels up in England (like there are opportunities she just wouldn't be able to make time for, conversations and boardrooms she wouldn't be able to be in if she went abroad) and if she's staying in England then whos a better club for her than Arsenal? No one seems to be doing more than them to grow the game right now. And its part of her identity, I'm sure she's hoping to help get Arsenal another champions league trophy one day. I don't know why you're singling her out when none of the forwards were good last night and she barely had a pre-season because she was out injured. I'm not sure what the point of posting this is other than to increase the hatred towards a player who is already being picked on all the time.
She hasn't played a competitive game since May. She's been out injured and barely had a preseason, give the girl a break. No Arsenal player was particularly good yesterday.
They need to stop wasting so much time doing media stuff like this and get on the training pitch. Last night was awful. No pace or creativity. The manager needs sacking, he can't coach players to play through a low block. If they don't turn it round in the second leg the season is half over before it's begun with barely a whimper

They'll set up to defend and Jonas can't set up a team to beat that
