I bought the RNF96. I still haven't surfed it on anything I'd call decent, but I'm fairly excited. It's way more twitchy than anything I have ridden before, so it needs some getting used to.
Hey Ian, thanks for the video. Of all Mayhem grovelers (RNF96, RNF Redux, RNF Classic, various Puddle Jumpers, Cali Twin, Cali Twin Pin etc.), which one has the most entry rocker? Thanks! 🙌
Good overview as always! Appreciate it. Think with the „goes in absolutely anything“ with Lost Bean Bag you meant no matter how shitty or small it gets you are covered. Bigger waves I imagine are harder with it I‘d imagine, right? This does not have rhe classical one board quiver shape
With the FFBB its fantastic in smaller - average waves, effortless paddle and wave entry. When you do get to the bigger surf the board does manage (to an extent) , however paddle position and placement on the wave would have to change due to the wide nose and flatter rocker. We'd keep it in the thigh to stomach/ chest waves :)
Most if not all of them would be good for the pool! all have generous outlines, good volume and will fit into that wave shape ... main bit is choosing which one to go for!
Adding to BoardshopUK I think most go, so choosing the sturdier construction might be sensible. LIB Tech in that case. So puddle jumper, bean bag. Not sure if the rnf96 is available in that construction. Cheers
It was a tough call, soo many good boards out there and to channel it down to these was hard enough. the White Tiger is soo fun in our opinion and super versatile, just didn't make the cut 🤷♂️
Nothing more fun in weak waves than a groveller if you are a good enough surfer to get them small so they perform, nothing worse than an oversized boaty groveller - still surf my 2013 5'5 Lost bottom feeder probably the best board I've owned takes steep drops, glides over flat sections, turns on a dime and never catches rail
Rnf 96, DD2, ci twin pin, and 6’6 FM. Finally got my dream quiver
Got a one board quiver slater flat earth 😂
What a quiver 👀
Mayhem showing up 3 times in the top 5 nice! He makes good grovelers for mushy waves
He sure does ! Some wicked models in the step down / groveler range from Lost. Hard to choose a best one !

Some bangers in that list , we like the PJHP or PJ Pro or if you wanted something a little more playful we'd go for the Cali Twin pin 🔥
Hard to beat these in the majority of our waves. Also, the Rocket Wide?
This list needs the Hydra

Might be different across the pond but the white tiger is top 5 over here
Hi guys, which one will be the more suitable for the pool in that list?

RNF96 or Lost Pisces?
Surprised not to see the Pyzel White Tiger in the list

Ian sticking to his guns .. or grovler in this case!
Long live the evo
