Kaczmarek played out of this world, came out swinging and was literally unstoppable most of the match. I can't say how many different ways he found to score, great at tooling the block, finding gaps in front of the blockers, varying his angles and ball placements, finding open spots on the floor. I was a little worried when Bieniek got hurt but Huber was a great replacement. Fornal had solid defense and passing when he came in for Leon. I kept saying Poland's League Champions and CEV Champions will help Poland win a major title, it certainly showed today!

When the match ended the Polish commentators said, 'we won this tournament with the length of our bench'. Crazy how nearly all positions could be replaced with another player just as good as the first one.
Kaczmarek is has great technic! He has a wide range of shots and his cooperation with Janusz is insane. I love to see him bouncing back from CL final when he admitted that Zaksa won without the opposite. And now winning the price of best opposite puts a big smile on my face
The depth in this team is something else. Where was Kurek?

Looks like the Polish team is vast beyond fantastic. Yet from the highlights, one only sees the good scores of the US team who lost 3 sets. I will need to watch the whole game. I am sure, it's very exciting.

Playing against Poland in Poland is something I don't wish on any team. It's like being in a big and loud coliseum. Still remember the final of the World Championship against Brazil in 2018, very similar atmosphere as in this game... What a team, what a game. Congrats, Poland! 🇵🇱

Siła polskiej siatkówki męskiej polega na tym, że trener-selekcjoner Grbic może na każdą pozycję wystawić trzech graczy o takim samym potencjale! Polska liga siatkarska jest najsilniejsza na świecie a dodatkowo rosną nam następne pokolenia siatkarzy i siatkarek. Tak trzymać!
No chyba nie każdej bo rozgrywający jest jeden niezły czyli Janusz a reszta jest bardzo przeciętna co widać było zanim Janusz dojechał na końcówkę ligi
I dlatego cała kasa z PZPN na siatkówkę. Oraz biegi na orientację połączone ze strzelaniem.
@@mysteriousdoge1298 Prawda, ale jednak jest Fabian Drzyzga, który nie był powołany. Na nr 1 w razie dyspozycji Janusza spokojnie można go powołać, chyba, że na pewno decydują aspekty pozasportowe i po prostu Grbic nie chce Drzyzgi w reprezentacji. Moim zdaniem też rośnie nowy ciekawy rozgrywający, jeśli w tym sezonie pogra w klubie, to na przyszłoroczne VNL raczej dostanie powołanie - Kajetan Kubicki. W obwodzie jest Marcin Komenda też, w klubie się nie popisuje, ale reprezentacja to zawsze czysta karta.

I remember when he was just 14 years old and had his first game
with a National Team….. just a brilliant road to one of the best volleyball players ever seen
This is a beautiful moment for Poland and Japan, Śliwka’s first test as a captain, Kaczmarek’s fantastic performence. As well Yuki’s brilliant shape and ofc Japan’s first medal in the VNL. I am looking forward to see Turkey in the next edition, i would love them to join the cup.

Only happened because Poland team not involve in the match, JP vs PL ? PL vs BRA ? PL vs US ? the same thing happened. I said this not because i hate PL or supporting specific team, just don't like un-sportsman behavior from supporter. And it happened at international level match, really sad to see PL team effort to become champion tarnished by poor behavior from their own supporter.

It was heartbreaking seeing Japan constantly fail their serve espeically in that finals set. Couldn't get a single break in. The booing wasn't as bad in set 1 but as it went on it just kept getting worse. Hopefully next time they'll learn to overcome a booing crowd and get their serves in.

Kaczmarek was unstoppable. He or Śliwka should be MVP. I don't know how Zatorski got MVP. He wasn't even best libero. For me Yamamoto was best libero. Zatorski probably got MVP not because this VNL but for whole career. Similar like MVP for Sergio in Olympics 2016. Also Poland broke the curse, last time host won VNL/World League in 1996.

As a Polish fan I need to agree that MVP is a one big disappointment. I’d give it to Kaczmarek instead, but never to Zatorski (with all the respect that I have for this amazing player).
