If no one's gonna say this I will: The Addams kids are more normal than any other kids from that camp Also that play was nothing more than a bad joke about rich people making fun and/or insulting the poor, hell they are even insulting the Native Americans So Wednesday made all of us a big favor with that revolt
No so. The Addam's family is very rich and have a lot of money. In fact the movie is about a gold digger marrying rich bachelors and their Uncle Fester was getting married during the summer camp sequence. This entire scene is about those that society dread and assume they must be forced to be "normal" and fit into whatever society deems normal. Wednesday was given the role and everyone thought they were doing her a favor because she would "fit in" despite playing a, what they assume to be, a lesser role in their famous play.
Your right about the play being just one bad joke. As well as not only being an insult to Indian native Americans but also discrimination towards those who are social outcasts, made fun of, come from certain race backgrounds, or anything like that. That's why it's more than fitting that the Popular kids and bullies are pilgrims and the outcasts are the native Americans. And Im sure Garry Granger has ancestors responsible for the destruction of Indian ancestors.

My face is looking white in the pic because of lightening 🤣🤣 there's not one single person in Brazil who isn't mixed raced. Black and white are just skin colors and not a genetic concept.
