I am an artist. and turning on your music in the background, my works took on a completely new atmosphere. take as many breaks as you want. but your music is just magical
This has a very experimental quality to it, for lack of a better term. Reminds me of some of Tool's and/or Feersum Ennjin's songs. Few sounds like these. Amazing stuff!!
Yeah, Tool is great! They were definitely one of the first bands that got me into the 'experimental' side of rock (before I discovered post-rock). I definitely love how they experiment with unusual time signatures, but they always have the 'vibe' right too. There's always a mix of dark, and sometimes anxiety inducing. This song I made is in 6/8 time signature (which is not unusual by Tool's standards), but it definitely adds to why the drum groove may sound like it's "pushing" and "pulling", which I notice Tool does a lot with their music.
your music literally transcends me to another realm. to me, you have such a unique sound. you are hands down one of the best artists spotify has introduced me to.
Started my day listening to Anodyne and now ended it listening to Nihility. Just like from Dawn to Dusk. You remind me of particularly of Kichi and Chikoi The Maids(in terms of beautiful music as well as the thumbnail). How do you consistently produce such masterpieces? I am in such awe of deep your works speaks to my soul that I am feeling inspired to do something spectacular in spite of the odds.
Thank you for the usual kind words, it really is inspiring me to know that people resonate with this kind of music. I actually had an artist block for like a year before this -- you can check the 'gap' in my upload period from last year, haha. I'm just happy to be making music again with the streak of inspiration. I like Kichi and Chikoi too, I feel like they are really good at balancing the 'light' and the 'dark' in their music -- they have aggressive sounding passages, but usually contrasted by the lighter, ambient parts of their songs that bring out the contrast.
I just stumbled upon this tonight, and I really love the vibes on it! The song is amazing, intense but also has a dark feel to it. As someone who makes art, writes, builds characters and the like it's pretty inspiring! I'll make sure to listen to more works tomorrow, for sure! And well, as someone who listens to more experimental(?) genres like breakcore, artcore, maidcore, weirdcore and bands like Co Shu Nie (shoegaze) and World' End Girlfriend, Dead Girlfriend and the like... This is certainly a favorite too! 🎉
@lainkreuzgrimdoll glad you liked it! I actually started as a dark ambient composer before, so I do love dark atmospheric music. I love experimental genres too, particularly genres that don't abandon melodies completely, like World's End Girlfriend (hurtbreak wonderland is a favorite). I'll definitely have to check out Co Shu Nie since I vibe with the genres you listed!
@@lainechinensy@lainechinensy Hurtbreak Wonderland is amazing! I personally loved Dance for Borderline Miscanthus, and their lastest album is just as eerie but beautiful! For Co Shu Nie, I'd recommend Asphyxia, Red Strand and Trapped in Summer! It's also cool to know you started with dark music, I used to try and compose music on tiny apps but never had the chance to *actually* learn how to make some nice musical works-
Great song to randomly find definitely looking at your other stuff now, I love the chilling background switching to an aggressive bass while keeping the original elements.
It's incredible! The sensations and feelings of desperation, strength and at the same time calm that you feel when listening to this. I love this !! New subscriber ❤
To tell the truth, I just have a backlog of old songs, so I didn't literally make everything from scratch in the past 10 days haha (to be specific, the metal tracks like prey to no one, and megami are older songs that I just had the time to revisit and publish). But now that i've exhausted my backlog, I probably won't be uploading as frequently in the next few weeks (maybe one more song this December), also due to anticipating being a bit busy with non-music irl stuff.
@@TestSubjectCoco yeah, this is totally cool, love me some j-noise rock. Kinda reminds me of mass of the fermenting dregs but more unhinged and experimental

Thank you! In the same why that I am inspired by other artists, it's always a win in my book if I am able to inspire someone else
I'm an artist too.I'm also a musician, guitarist to be specific
And I agree lainechinensy's music is awesome to power through tasks
Ok you got me hooked after the first 3 seconds
Got me as well. Rare that it happens.

I didn't expect maidcore to sound like that, neither did I expect it to sound like anything at all, but I'm enjoying it for sure.

Now this sounds a lot like maidcore
UA-cam algorithm knows what I want always ❤
Nice sounds man

Wow. You are on fire this week. It is what? The third upload in ten or so days?
To tell the truth, I just have a backlog of old songs, so I didn't literally make everything from scratch in the past 10 days haha (to be specific, the metal tracks like prey to no one, and megami are older songs that I just had the time to revisit and publish). Kinda reminds me of Spec Ops: The Line, in the best way possible!
Thanks, I've never played it but I really like the soundtrack's vibe!
Reminds me Nikke
Hopefully kaitaisurale finds this
Hi!
I wrote to the mail about the OST for the game, there is a link to Discord
Yes, I joined the group now! I'll just be lurking around since I don't know russian ;p
@lainechinensy Don't worry, we all understand English. And there's always a translator)
do you perchance know about this silly little community called Maidcore/Nijiura Maid?
Yes! I was only familiar with Yakui and Chikoi at first, but i've been discovering other maidcore artists over the last few months. It's really cool
Pssstt, listen to SEAPOOL - PEAT MOSS. I think you'll like it and might give you inspirations >:3
