I'm pretty sure that the "Tom" character uses art of Hagar, stolen from Final Fight, so... It's definitely a Chinese game.

For those interested; the easiest way to win the game is to focus on you diamond miners (count, speed and later even the ignore enemies upgrade), having diamonds will allow you to scale everything else much quicker.
What is the game?
The easiest way to win is to get the piggy bank and the transaction relics which give you interest on your gold coins which can spiral out of control real fast, and also makes every 10 coins at the end of a run converted into 1 diamond. Every upgrade in the span of a single run - I did it off the back of 2 of the starter guns in weapons pack A.
But in reality - there is no actual winning the game. It just keeps on going. People have shared screen shots on steam of being in the mid 200's for waves.
The real way to win the game is to get that achievement that only 0.1% of players have gotten which variously appears and triggers the achievement, or in my case, crashed the game.
Also, Jupiter is crazy difficult even going in with everything upgraded...and that gravity well weapon, it'll kill you just as mucha s the aliens when it sucks all of them into contact with your base...

DF, you might like The Perfect Tower 2. It is similar in gameplay to this game, but with a far greater focus on longterm power increases.
I played that a while ago really enjoy it but stopped playing for a few months then went back to it and I cannot remember what I was doing lol

That game takes incremental sprawl to an entirely new level. It's more than a bit much. I quit playing for a few days and now when I see its patch updates I have little shivers of PTSD.
