  • Stratego is a two-player strategy game that is perfect for people of all ages. You can play with the traditional board or a smaller, compact version that is perfect for taking on the go.
The goal of the game is to capture your opponent's flag. To do this, you will use your army of soldiers, generals, and spies to outmaneuver and outsmart your opponent. The game is based on bluffing and strategy, and it is sure to provide hours of fun for players of all levels.
When I was a little kid, my sister and I got this tiny little game called Stratego. It was a small compact version of the big board game, but we loved it. It reminded us a little bit of chess, but with a more strategic feel.
After 30+ years, I found it on Google Play and started again my Journey of Conquest. I was excited to relive the childhood memories and play it again but this time, online.
    I hope you'll enjoy it.
I highly recommend this game. 👌👌👌

Number one fan here lol. A heartbreaking loss one in which could have been prevented if you moved the captain instead of the major to pursue his last piece. As always, I have some critiques that could help you a ton in future games:
Trading unknown pieces for known pieces: you did this quite frequently trading both of your unknown colonels a captain and you were trying to change majors it appeared but fortunately he hit a bomb. Trading unknowns for knowns is only acceptable when you have a material advantage, otherwise when you are down material you need to keep those pieces on the board to capture other pieces that moved. You knew the colonels, major and captain remember that info for later.
Two Square Rule: this is one I have stated before, if you are at the diagonal when trying to capture a piece you will not be able to take the piece, you did this frequently with an unknown that your general was trying to capture.
Burying key pieces: when his general was revealed early, this was a huge issue for you because your general was buried, you had no ability to counterattack early on which would have helped you in the end game.
Making pieces too obvious: when you moved your Marshall behind your lieutenant and proceeded to stall to bait his general to hit your unknown lieutenant, your opponent seemed to figure out your Marshall was guarding the left flank when he stopped his advance. That tactic would have worked had you not stalled because I think he realized you were baiting him to hit and that was a missed opportunity in the game.
I’d love to play you to continue teaching you the fundamentals of this complex game. Problem is I don’t know how to play you lol. It seems like a random drawing as far as you play game to game. I’ll try to see if I can create a custom game and see if that will work. My username is Eren_Yeager again.

Yeah, I agree with your criticism. The game was great. He was playing very good and never gave up. Which I admire. I like how he had a high peace always closby after scouting. That is actually the thing I'll try to implement myself.
I made a rookie mistake, that is for sure because I usually play 5 min time chess and I am used to play fast. And this cost me the game... one move that was not necessary = lost the game.
But cool that is why we all like games like this... 👍
