Wow it is rare to see an english language channel playing around with mse line up. The line is quite good actually.. nice head-body proportion, a routine update each a few months and it reach many kind of gundam series. The downside of this series is the ex version which is too pricey. And it is a rare collectibles.. since bandai only release it in a scheduled wave.
What I love about Ensemble is it's in that intersection between model kits and tabletop miniatures. The all the posability I want with the perfect scale for wargaming.
My first Gundam figure was a GM Cannon MSV shokugan/candy toy from a Japanese supermarket. I now have 150+ Gundam shokugan figures from the Converge, Assault Kingdom, Ultimate Operation, StandArt, G-Frame, Mobility Joint and MS Artifact lines. The smaller scale and quick assembly make them easy to display in my small apartment.
i started with RG wing gundam custom my daughter said was cool when we were at hobby lobby getting a school craft project supplies and once i was done building it with her i was addicted and now my daughter loves the sds
You did it again my friend, now I’m gonna have to buy some to try out lol I actually have some converge figures but it’s nothing like this maybe close in proportion
I really loved this ensemble line when my cousin gave me this gacha when he was japan, he got lucky cause the first one he get was impulse gundam, now i influenced my other cousin to collect and we now have 6 (v2, x2, banshee, barba, rick dias, and impulse) and planning to get more when there's stock in the online shopping market. It's really hard to find some of our likes cause it's out of stock.
LOL, I find it funny that you are backing off from buying Gunpla as well. I am "trying" to buy 1 kit a month. I have been buying random Manga from my Comic Shop, where I generally buy my Gunpla kits as well. I had bought one of these a few years back and I am not even sure what it is called. It is part of the AoZ line up. But Once I saw that Hazel and Hazel Custom. I was sold, I am heading to Target after work to buy whatever is available. Do not get into the Convergance line up. Those are like 1/1000 kits. I bougtht a P Bandai AoZ box, that has 4-5 little kits inside. They are all resin brown color. So you have to paint them too.
anyways, if they do make a revive kit for the RGM, i hope they make it like the MG, where we could choose between the Iron diaper, and the Gundam Skirt.
Been wondering how they fare vs the gundam mobility line. I've enjoyed the mobility line a lot and could not go into their other lines, the figures in a waves for mobility are all linked in theme (cc, 00,etc...)

That is awesome. Is shokugan a term used for these smaller figures? I have the assault kingdom mk ii!

MS Ensemble is a distillation, not a reduction, of what I love about gunpla. I was really surprised how mich i liked them.
my biggest gripe about Origin would be how they changed the GM design, I mean some people liked it,

Converge are nice. Just that they lack articulation compare to mse n hobility joint
