do you spray or wash it with anything after engraving or just wipe it with a towel?
Normally you brush off the dust and wipe it with a towel.
Being in the group for the original lesson was great. But watching the replay was even better. I picked up on things that I missed when we were live. Thanks again Jason!

Hey there! Yes - you can absolutely use Photoshop in place of Corel! Any photo editing software will work just as good, so feel free to use whatever you prefer. :-)
For the people that don't have corel like me can you show how all this can be done with only lightburn? I am running a 150watt co2 laser with rudia controller. Even the one you did with your grandparents.

Hi Rudy! While you have the ability to mask and process a photo (dither) in LightBurn, you do not have any photo editing tools to enhance or fix photos, do drop shadows, or add a background like the sky.
What made you engrave it at such a low power? The suggested power settings are 20
Hi Randy! The power supply on our machine was dialed up higher than what they typically come as for testing purposes.
Can this be done on grey granite
Yes it can!
What is the black object you have the monument propped up on? Is that an accessory available for purchase?
It is called a slant jack, for engraving granite slant markers. I think we are out of stock at the moment.
Could you do that piece on the smallest AP Lazer machine?
Yes, absolutely! We are planning on doing another slant on the SN2616 here soon.

Ok I just unsubscribed just as you said. Don't know why it looks like your rude comment was deleted. But now that I got the finances to buy a bigger laser I will go to Epilogue laser. At least they are willing to talk and answer in a timely manner.
