Man, I really wish these were around when I was primarily kayak fishing years ago. These things look awesome. 12v and 20Ah for ~$150 in a 3lb package... this sounds great. They'd be legit in a portable Panoptix setup too.
New to kayak fishing and decided on this battery. Curious to see your power supply set up and how you charge multiple items using the Nocqua batteries.
The biggest problem I have right now is the GoPro overheating. I can usually get all the footage I want with the batteries I have. Thanks for the info.
Over heating is usually caused by firmware or SD CARD incompatibility. The hero 7 is know for neither but is known to overheat the most of any of he released cameras. So if you have a 7 the best advice I can give you is to upgrade or go back to like the 5. If you don’t have a 7 you need to update your firmware, and also check your SD card comparability on the website

That's the exact little cube thingy that powers my Elite FS7 on my 21 Hobie OB. Awesome little battery. Allll day loooong vaby!!!
