That game was 2 miraculous plays away from being so much closer. That play, and the pass to Hill in the 1st quarter. KC is winning this game with the O-Line they had in 2021, Mahomes had 2 Backup Tackles that were bad all game long.

I've been a Chiefs fan since '92, and that throw was the moment when I knew this dude was unlike any QB I'd seen in KC. I was excited for the possibility of a SB appearance for the first time in 50 years, but I had no clue just how good he would be.
Although Mahomes is still a great qb against cover 2 defense, I wish team would stop cheesing that. It was so entertaining to watch chiefs offense just demolish defenses. As a Chiefs fan going into that game I knew there was very little chance to win. The only starting OL playing his original position was the center Austin Reiter. Three starters were out and Andrew Wylie had to flip from guard to LT that game. Every single Chiefs offensive lineman that game was a backup level lineman against the best pass rush in football that year.
I just hope Mahomes can learn new play style when time goes on. I mean he is fast and can do very very good throws even when he is going down and that is amazing. But he will get older, slower and whit his current play style he will get injured for sure. I hope when he gets older he could learn some kind of hybrid of his current style and becoming better in pocket.
