to me, nft is equivalent to designer brands where rich ppl are willing to pay exaggerating premium for it. admirable courage to cover this, this is quite a controversial area but need more awareness...
I came here to learn how to invest after listening to a guy on radio talk about the importance of investing and how he made $460,000 in 4 months from $160k, somehow this video has helped shed light on some things, but I'm still confused, I'm a newbie and I'm open to ideas.
Investing in stocks and crypto is a good idea, a good trading system would put you through many days of success.
It is possible to produce superior performance provided you do something different from the majority. However most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
Having monitored my portfolio performance which has made a jaw dropping $370k from just the past two quarters alone, I have learned why experienced traders make enormous returns from the seemingly unknown market.

This is a good episode. Steve presents a balanced view of risk and benefit from NFT.
This is peak internet. Because of the distanceless communication and cashless transfer, a group of people could sell their idea to some people with cash and it went off because more people saw the value of how it could actually be useful in selling art and creative stuff.
Most of the items sold are extremely volatile goods which can't hold their values over time. The value is hiked by internet frenzy. People are buying things just to fill their desires.
Gateio offers alot of choices when it comes to NFTs. As an CEX, it offers free minting of NFTs.

You don't even pay for ownership. You pay for a position in a queue NEXT to an image or something which you don't own. It's actually insane.
Then again...I guess if we are honest, a lot of things in life only have value because people *believe* they have value.
Still boggles my mind how many people believe that by buying an NFT they own the artwork attached to it though.
They do not.

Why would I stop you? The reason why you bothered to right click save is because you know the NFT is valuable, so you actually wish to own it yourself. If anything, you are helping the owners publicize the NFT for free 🙂

Ya you can.. normally we uses exchanges (etoro, binance, etc) and trade the ETH back to stable coin that can transfer back to your bank account
Assuming u can find a greater fool to buy it off you, you can cpvert it to eth or btc and sell those to get cash. Though with the amt of scams in the nft space right now, u getting a gd project is essentially gambling

You can, but it is a gamble. A lot of it is almost like a pyramid scheme or the like. Everyone involved in it kinda needs to keep the hype going, because if it dies down and you still holding on to the NFT you are caught with your pants down since you don't own anything of practical value at all.

The value of NFT focus on scarcity, history of ownership which also built in and recorded in the blockchain with meta data, it technology use today and it future value like antique. For example, a person who used a bowl to eat rice few hundred years ago, by now it is an antique which worth ton of money. NFT with meta data in the blockchain is liked 'carbon dating' recorded with date and with history value. As the time go on, it become more valuable and more scare, you cant go back in time to reproduce it, and that the value of NFT.
TLDR, Online MLM scheme.

NFT is NOT the image you are looking at. NFT stores the LINK to the image you host. It's basically a link to a gdrive image or whatnot. Look it up, it's a scam. You still need to TRUST whoever hosts that image. I could sell you an NFT image of a monkey and changed it dog tomorrow.
