I struggle at times. You don't see the sweat pouring off of me when I'm in front of a camera. LOL I'm slowly getting used to it, but it can still make me pretty nervous.

Hi Bob, I didn't know Astrid S before. But you're right. So far the artists from Norway have not disappointed. A beautiful melody and a great voice. You said the voice is unique because it might be so high pitched. I hadn't looked at the monitor for a while and thought it sounded almost like a child's voice. So bright and clear. Of course it is also high. But Astrid is already 26 years old. Perhaps it is this slight contradiction that is also perceived subconsciously.

Yes! I heard that they one in a great game. So close. It's great to see when competition is so tight. Makes for exciting games. Regarding Astrid, she doesn't really look 26, but hey, to me everyone is young. How did I become the old guy? LOL I really love her voice and so far, her songs as well.

And speaking of mature breakup songs, I recommend “Last to Know” from Sigrid’s new-ish album. Also Mistake Like You, Dancer, High Note, etc. :)

Bob, regarding the A girls and S girls, you still got some more left ... like Ane Brun - try her Do you Remember, and Annie - try her American Cars. Then there is Skaar (pronounced as in en. score) - very popular, and Silya - great voice and dancer, and Silje - having released 18 albums since 1990 and touring Europe every year. Then there are Adelén, Alan Walker, band Askjell, Christel Alsos, Emilie Nicholas (silent s) - very good, Fay Wildhagen, Girl in Red - extremely polular - warmed up for Billie Eilish a month ago, Hilde Louise - jazz composer/singer/uses same musicians as Angelina, band Highasakite, Ina Wroldsen - great voice but mostly wrote songs for others until late - several billion views, Iris, Julie Bergan, band Kalandra, KYGO, band Madrugada, band Metteson, Margaret Berger, Raylee, band Royksopp, Sval, TGC, should keep you busy for a while, lol. There are many more ...
LOL...just when I thought I had the list pretty much filled up. Cut me some slack here. If you had to choose ONE of those, what would you go with? Still...a lot of A's and S's on that list of yours! Ha It sounds like you listen to a good amount of music. I have so much to learn!!!
@@ModernLifeForThe70sMind Lots of music for sure. Maybe try one new a month could be an idea... If choosing just one I will suggest the band Madrugada/great male vocalist - Sivert. They were and are very popular - I pick their 'Majesty' live at Oslo Spectrum from 2005. (The version from their concert at Acropolis/Athens is great too.) Nice reaction! I think of this more as an "f-u"song, even though it's very polite or "mature" as you called it. Could be wrong of course. But I'd hate for somebody I was close to not to care at all. No regrets, she feels nothing , doesn't care who you might be with. She does say she wishes it would hurt, but it doesn't. If I was her ex guy, I would have hoped I had an impact!

I LOVED her!! Wasn't she from Australia? Maybe I'm wrong, but for some reason that comes to mind. I was pretty much in love with her when that song came out...so many years ago. LOL

Yes, she has an unique voice and is quite popular, and has a good catalog. Right at the end of that video there were pop-ups to Sigrid and one of Astrid and Dagny doing 'Pretty', acustic version, two voices and piano, a favorite with me. Oh and both Astrid and Dagny are very pretty, and do modelling. Astrid also played Cinderella in a movie released last autumn - Three wishes for Cinderella. She did great there too, very nice reviews.
