Its incredible and unforgivable that you don't mark this interview as having taken place in 1994

Wasting time on early biographical Qs and the same old anecdotes that could be looked up on the Web. Unimaginative interviewers always retread old ground because they don;t know what else to ask. Most critics are unimaginative, demonstrated in their styles of writing, lack of style, that is, and Rosenbaum, one of the more famous of the bunch, is just another interchangeable cardboard cutout. Wasted opportunity. Never gets past first base.

While I agree with you, I'm pretty sure this is quite an old interview.

This interview is from 1994... You not only failed to listen to and understand the great amount of detail in this interview, but are ignorant as well. There was very little on Jarmusch in 1994, save for some newspaper articles on the films. No books, and no exposure on television. Therefore this is actually a pioneering in-depth interview with Jarmusch, the first of many at the Walker, and with Rosenbaum (who eventually wrote an out-of-the-park book on DEAD MAN).
