It increases my respect immensely of these world class players when I see them laugh at themselves after fluffing a drum fill. They are super human to me, but ultimately open to mistakes like us amateurs 🤣 thank you for this footage Sattel42. Awesome.
Yes, but he definitely nailed that big fill at the end. Such an exciting player in a great band...still kicking about 40 years after its MTV days of fame.
@@MrCherryJuice absolutely, Sir. In the years I have been admiring this genius that's the first time I have ever seen him miss a beat. I just love seeing him laughing at it and cursing himself. What a pro.
what a player ! I reckon he`s not at all playing safe, trying to keep it interesting night after night, some you win... he`s come a long way since Blue Peter 😉
He flubbed the end of that fill, possibly because he was conscious he was being filmed. He definitely nailed it second time around, just before the end. An exciting player in a great band.
Pete is very quick in reaction. There is a video on UA-cam of Cobham breaking a drumstick and not missing a beat. It’s in the video “Juicy” from Montreaux
Eindelijk een mooi drumbeeld , goede slagwerker, bedankt voor de opname Sattel42
@@Tisnieanders Bedankt‼️

Wow what a drummer he has unbelievable hand speed. Makes me just want to put my kit on EBay 😁
I will always be a massive Phil fan but, my goodness, Pete is a beast!!
Cool to see Pete with Tama and Zildjian, just like Phil back in the day.

PETE!!!!!🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for sharing 😊 Pete seemed a bit annoyed with one of his fills lol. Great drummer tho 🥁
@@chinatype Enjoy my channel‼️👍🙋🏻♂️
It was the ending of it wasn't clean. Still killing.
Nothing to do with chops but spinning the cymbal after the choke was a cool touch.

Does anybody play live without a click anymore?
This has a sequencer behind it so it would be impossible to play without a click.
Too much Flanger on the bass sometimes. No ?
