I’ve been to 30+ Springsteen concerts and this is what it’s like. A community of people coming together to sing and dance and have a great time. And we believe…
I've seen Bruce 7 times, twice in Barcelona. Nothing like a Barcelona crowd. Saw him 3 times in Italy and very good too, but the Barcelona crowd is just at another level of enthusiasm and joy.
I'm 35 years old. My dad is a huge Bruce fan. I've been to 9 bruce concerts over my life, all over the country. Every show is like this, epic and amazing. Many of the shows are 3 hours or more. Best entertainer I've ever seen. Can't wait for the next show.
I've been twice (2009 and 2023) to a Bruce concert in Vienna, seen and listened to many of his concerts. I can confirm that it's pretty much like that every time full of energy and passion. I'm pretty sure that not many artists will be able follow his footsteps with 3 hour shows almost every concert still at age 74.
EVERY show is an EVENT !!!!!! I have see Bruce 13 times with the first time being in 1975 at the Houston Coliseum. I had just turned 17 and it was my first concert The Coliseum only held about 9200 people but I dont think it was sold out. Me and my two best friend had seats on the floor in the 9th row. Absolutely AMAZING seats.Never forget when Bruce and Clarence walked down the middle iisle of the floor just jamming. It was absolutely MESMERIZIING !!! NO other concert I ever attended and I went to alot back in those days, ever came close to the ENERGY, PASSION and SHEER JOY that I experienced that night. While ALL of Bruce's concerts are 3 -4 hour marathons, time was never a thought until the concert was over and you were left EXHAUSTED and ELATED,
The Sax player is Clarence Clemons "the big man", Bruce's dear friend who sadly passed away in 2011 and since then Jake Clemons, nephew of Clarence replaced him as a sax player in the E Street Band. If you listen Jungleland, there’s like 3minute sax solo of Clarence haha. Also still when Bruce's performs one of his concert regulars "Tenth Avenue Freeze Out" when line says "and the big man joined the band" which is when the pictures of Clarence are often shown. Just saw then Live, again, this summer and they are still one of the best Live performers out there.
What is very cool about a Springsteen concert is that it's all about seeing the music and the performances. There are no fancy lights, lasers, props or anything to distract from he music. What you do get is big screens and amazing camera work that captures the entire performance. In fact, seeing Springsteen live sometimes feels a lot like watching videos of him on UA-cam. Whoever is directing does an amazing job because looks almost like an edited video but you are watching everything in real-time, capturing Bruce, the rest of the band and amazing crowd reactions as well.
I saw him several times, the first time was 1977 and I didn’t know much about him The crowd knew and sang every song, he was awesome and I became hooked
I saw them for the third time in 2016 in Foxboro. The show was 4 hours and 3 minutes and Bruce never left the stage! The greatest concert I have ever seen, or will ever see.
Just saw Bruce and the E Street Band this past March in San Diego. I’ve been to dozen of them before that going way back. It’s always a religious experience!!
Went to 3 concerts last year KC ,Tulsa and Chicago. He will be 75 this month and still putting out the energy and love for 3 hours. Barcelona is a bit extra!!
I've seen him a few times, most memorably at the LA Coliseum on the Born In The USA tour in 1985. A few of the songs on his live box set were recorded from that show. Most vivid memory was on Born To Run when they turned the stadium lights on. I was on the field and I looked all the way to the back and top of that huge stadium -- it seated about 90,000 then -- and I could see all the fists pumping all the way to the top. I remember seeing a guy who obviously came straight from work in his dress shirt and loosened tie, with a small kid perched on his shoulders, rocking out.
Iv seen Bruce 4 times here In Canada 🇨🇦 and I have to say it’s a lot like what you’re seeing in Barcelona he’s powerful and a machine They Call Him The Boss For A Reason ❤
I only saw Bruce once in 1985...he played for 5 hours with no warm band. There was a girl sitting near us that was there by herself and knew every single word to every single song. Plus there were no people walking around the outer concourse during the whole concert. I mean, not a single person! Bruce fans are on a different level.❤
Bruce is awesome. Seen every concert in Sweden since 1985. The audience was jumping so much so the stadium broke. After this people ask them to play “the stadium breaker” every time he plays in Gothenburg. This is typicall Bruce concerts. He is a master of connecting with the audience. He is a true legend, best of the best to experience live!! I hope he will back in Gothenburg Sweden 2025. If so I will be there all days 😍🎸👑🇸🇪
He plays with energy for 3hrs at age 74 just saw him 3wks ago Back in 2016 he played just over 4hrs non stop with high energy. He's very passionate to his fanbase especially overseas. Sax player was Clarence Clemons known as the Big Man (RIP) His nephew Jake Clemons is now the Sax player
I saw Bruce two nights in a row in 85 in Melbourne Australia and another three times. The 1985 concerts were definitely like this the crowd was wild and I got to touch Bruce Springsteens hand.
I'm born n bred in Jersey, my entire life. This is part of my DNA. First saw Bruce live, in '78 at the Spectrum in Philly. I was 17. It was a life changing experience. He played 2 hours...then a half hour break...then another 2+ hours....It was the greatest thing I ever saw. Nothing like a Bruce show from the 70s & 80s, when he was in his 20s & 30s....Still great today, but the tempos are a bit slower. Still plays 3 hours. Not too bad for a 75 year old LEGEND......You never get cheated at a Bruce Concert.
3 plus hour shows, saw him several times. Born in the USA tour, saw him in Hartford, CT and sat behind stage. Bruce had this large trough filled with ice water and a boatload of towels. He visited the trough often, ton of energy in all his shows.
Saw him the first time, week before Live Aid at Wembley, he played 4 hours. Saw him in Murrayfield, Edinburgh last year, 2023 took my daughter to her first Boss show, she was blown away and then The Stadium of Light, Sunderland in May 2024 in the pouring rain when he started 30 mins late due to the weather and gave us his all for 3 hours, then missed 3 shows because he was ill and then saw him again at Wembley in July 24, my daughters pre-wedding gift from me, again blown away by the 3 hour extravaganza! You simply cannot beat a Boss gig, yes, they all like this and long may he go on…..
I’ve been to six shows. Best concerts I’ve seen without reservation. Last show I saw was 2017 I think…just under four hours long, with no intermission. The shows are exhausting in the best possible way. Basically it’s a religious experience lol. I’m in Seattle now.
I saw him back in the mid-70s when he's Born to Run Tour it was the greatest concert I've ever seen can I have seen hundreds of them by various people the energy is mind-boggling
I'm always surprised at how many people remember how many times they've seen him live. I lost count about 15 years ago. Best show Gillette stadium during The River tour. Played for 4 hours and 3 minutes. Just 4 minutes shy of his record of 4 hours and 7 minutes. My daughter could believe anyone would play that long.
Still and always like this I confirm ! Attended many gigs, he gives so much energy despite his 75 and still runs for 3 hours each, non stop ! He's really the Boss ❤
I've seen bruce 6 times, just seen him in Rochester a few months ago, and he has barley lost a step at almost 77, he played for 3 hours non-stop and yes the energy is always the same. He is not my favorite artist but it is the best show you will ever be at and you still have a chance to see him on this 2024 tour
I've been to more than 50 E Street Band shows--mostly in NJ, NYC, and Philly. This is nothing compared to those crowds. Those crowds know every word to every song no matter how deep into his catalog (which is huge) he pulls something. Best Badlands I've ever seen was last year at Madison Square Garden. I really thought Bruce was never going to let the song end. He did two "fake" endings, and when he finally ended the song, the crowd kept going with (oh, oh, oh, oh) for a few minutes until the next song (Jungleland) started.
Seen him 92 times. Pretty much always like this. Best 92 shows I've ever seen, and I've seen most bands. Nothing like it. That was a really good crowd that night in Barcelona though. It wasn't the best of the 92, but it was up there
2016 in Dublin, Ireland, for the second night, he was an hour late, very unusual. Then he gives us 3hr 45 of uptempo rock’n’roll, not a slowish song in sight and an ENTIRELY different set from the previous night. There will never be any other act like Bruce and the E Street Band ❤❤❤❤, CATCH THEM NOW if you can.
The guy with the black bandanna is Lil Stevie (Steven Van Zandt). I'm not sure if you've ever seen the TV mini-series "The Sopranos " but Stevie was a regular on the show
They know it from 1 - 2. This song is awesome live. Great crowd interaction on this song, too. The shows are all like this, but he is bigger in Europe than the US and Barcelona crowds are off the charts. Italy crowds are as well. I never went to Europe for a show, but if I did, I'd want to go to Barcelona and anywhere in Italy.
To answer your question - yes, it's this way for 4 hours a night. This was the first song at the first Bruce concert I attended more than 45 years ago, and it blew my mind then, and it always will. Also, the E Street Band is composed of the musicians' musicians and then some. Clarence and Danny have now passed on, but Clarence's nephew Jake has taken his place and still kills those solos. By the way, drummer Max Weinberg and pianist Roy Bittan also played on Meat Loaf's legendary Bat out of Hell album. And you might know Weinberg from leading Conan O'Brien's band on TV, and "Miami" Steve Van Zandt from his acting chops as one of the stars of The Sopranos! Would love to see you guys react to one of the band's most fun songs ever, "Out in the Street"!
You can still him Springsteen Live! He's out there He's touring at 74 years old. . This happens all the time. This is the BOSS! How is possible you've not seen him in action before? Really? Wow.
I've seen him three times.. once right after born to run was released (but just before the twin album covers) and even back then it was a marathon of a concert
The European shows are crazier than the US shows, especially these days. But the crowds are generally great everywhere. Especially back in the 2000s when this was filmed.
The DVD of that Barcelona concert will be one of the best investments you will ever make (especially if you've got a cinema system and don't give a stuff about the neigbours...!)
You can’t go wrong with Bruce and the E Street band, they have a huge Catalog, and the whole played the guitar and sang with Bruce is Stevie Vanzdt, he and Bruce have been friends since they were 16 and Stevie is a star in his own right. He was Tony offsider, in The Sopranos, and he’s stared in a Series on Netflix called Lilyhamer . As to why Bruce is called the Boss, the Band Started calling him that way back when they were just starting because he was the one that payed them. He wasn’t very comfortable with it at 1st but I think he’s fine with it now. 🇦🇺😘
142 Bruce shows. Yes, Every show is a freaking celebration to the power, majesty, and strength of ROCK AND ROLL!
wow
You spent your money well, my friend
I’ve been to 30+ Springsteen concerts and this is what it’s like. A community of people coming together to sing and dance and have a great time. And we believe…

Every show is like this. 75 years old (almost) still does 3 hr shows!!
I'm 35 years old. My dad is a huge Bruce fan. I've been to 9 bruce concerts over my life, all over the country. Every show is like this, epic and amazing. Many of the shows are 3 hours or more. Best entertainer I've ever seen. Can't wait for the next show.
Bruce is an absolute legend, been lucky to see him twice this year in the UK. 74 years of age and still playing shows over 3 hours long. Unbelievable
Springsteen concerts are ALWAYS an EXPERIENCE not just a music event!!!!!!!!!!
Those Barcelona crowds are always crazy... makes for a great show
You Should see Argentina crowd, incredible appreciation and energy.
I saw him in Barcelona last year and I'm going to see him in San Sebastian next June! I've seen him more than thirty times. Nobody does it better.
I've been twice (2009 and 2023) to a Bruce concert in Vienna, seen and listened to many of his concerts. I can confirm that it's pretty much like that every time full of energy and passion. Italy and Spain are the most enthusiastic Bruce crowds

I’ve been to dozens of shows since my first in 1980. saw him 4 times in 2023/4. Life changing EVERYTIME!
We saw The Boss in Cardiff this year, was epic, full off passion and played for 3 hours straight. They call him "The Boss" for a reason !!
I've been to too many concerts to count and Bruce us definitely the most energy of them all.
I’ve seen Bruce and the ESB in concert 21 times beginning in the late 70s. The 21 best shows I’ve ever attended.
Bruce, the band and and the audience interaction is like no other. Always over the top. He gives it all he’s got every time.
I saw him several times, the first time was 1977 and I didn’t know much about him
The crowd knew and sang every song, he was awesome and I became hooked
Yep. The four times I've seen him, yes same energy. Longest was 3 hours 48 minutes, with no break 😎
I saw them for the third time in 2016 in Foxboro. The show was 4 hours and 3 minutes and Bruce never left the stage! The greatest concert I have ever seen, or will ever see.

Barcelona is legendary. NJ is also off the chain!
Seen him a few months ago at 74 years old and was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been too. Living legend
3 to 4 hours of this the money is worth with Bruce
Every show is like this!

I saw Bruce in 1979 at Madison Square Garden for the first public performance of "The River," and yes it's always insane.
I saw THE BOSS this year in
Barcelona - absolutely fantastic
See you soon in Liverpool and
Prague
He plays with energy for 3hrs at age 74 just saw him 3wks ago

I was there 2nd row standing in front of Bruce. Top 3 crowd i ever witnessed
His concerts are epic. Yes, the energy and the fun is just so contageous.

I've been to 29 Bruce concerts. The Spaniards are quite special. In the UK we adore but not quite as jumpy.
Everywhere. I've been to dozens over 40+ years
Badlands, part of the Darkness Album. These songs came alive on stage in 1978 and are rockers of hope. Magic in concert.
Yeah, that Barcelona crowd Always delivers.
Been to see Bruce and it is always like this!
Yes I went to New Orleans and I saw him and he was amazing
Its like this everywhere, seen him 17 times never ever been disapointed

Every show is like this for 3+ hours. I’ve seen BRUCE seven times and I’ve never sat down once.
I’ve been to six shows. Best concerts I’ve seen without reservation. Last show I saw was 2017 I think…just under four hours long, with no intermission. The shows are exhausting in the best possible way. Basically it’s a religious experience lol.

Great performance
I’ve been to this very concert, absolutely blew the roof off th Palau Sant Jordi
Been to over 50 Springsteen concerts. He's the best live act I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot.

this is a unique experience
I saw him in Florence, June 2012. I love him . After the King Elvis, he Is the Essence of rock.
Still and always like this I confirm ! Attended many gigs, he gives so much energy despite his 75 and still runs for 3 hours each, non stop ! He's really the Boss ❤

I saw him back in 2010 in Mexico City and it was insane. The guy was like 65 years old then and he stage dove and crowd surfed.
It's like this at every concert and everyone sings along from Canada waiting for the concert on November 24th in Vancouver
It’s like that at every concert believe me !!!!!
I've been to more than 50 E Street Band shows--mostly in NJ, NYC, and Philly. This is nothing compared to those crowds. on Jungleland of the tour so far I think?
@@SteveA308 He also did Jungleland 8/30/23 at the Meadowlands in NJ. (Yes, I was there for that one, too.)
The Boss being The Boss...!!!
I've been to over 40 shows, the latest being a few weeks ago in Washington, DC. Yes, they're ALL like this. That's why he's The Boss!
Seen him live 5 times. Every concert is like this. I'm in Scotland🏴
Have seen him in Germany in 1985 and 2016(?). He is always amazing.
Barcelona....❤
Seen him 92 times. Pretty much always like this. Best 92 shows I've ever seen, and I've seen most bands. Nothing like it. That was a really good crowd that night in Barcelona though. It wasn't the best of the 92, but it was up there
2016 in Dublin, Ireland, for the second night, he was an hour late, very unusual. Getting tickets is another story
This girl looks like Gianna Michaels. ❤️
It's the Big Man ! with a saxophone in his hands !
Now you know why I've seen him 16 times! ✌️
2x as a fan and once recently as security at his dressing room door!
Going to one of his concert was like going to church.
yes... you leave a a 3 hour+ Bruce concert, feeling spent, and feeling 10+ years younger..
This a typical Springsteen concert. Even at 74 years old. If you guys keep watching The Boss like this you will become fellow Springnuts!
“It ain’t no sin to be glad you’re alive” ~Badlands
The DVD of that Barcelona concert will be one of the best investments you will ever make (especially if you've got a cinema system and don't give a stuff about the neigbours...!)
