Firstly, this alone earned my subscription! Your craftmanship is outstanding! Secondly, I'm definately getting the smaller one to give me hands-on learning. Lastly, if I make this out of PU leather or vinyl, should I back it with a stiffner like Ultra Heat n' Bond? Do you have any suggestions since leather is expensive I wanted to try a cheaper alternative? Thanks for all that you do to keep us inspired! Hugs from Villa Rica, GA. ☀🌴🏖
Holy Moly this is gorgeous! I have made my own fabric-dressform before, but never did it cross my mind to do something like this in leadther. Its absolutely stunnig, great work!
When talking about firm veg tan in 5.26 minutes into your video. Do you think a Herman Oak Craftsman side 5-6oz veg tan would fit the bill? Or is a saddle firm leather reduced down to 5-6oz what I am needing to get? I am so excited that this pattern is out for sale now. THANK YOU>
Hi there! Fantastic work! May I ask if you're going to make a male version of it? Checked on your Etsy account but could not see it. By the way, want to try and make this with cork fabric. Probably need to add something for stiffness as Cork is only >1mm thickness. Thanks a million in advance.
@@KarlovaDesign that would be great! I have subscribed to your channel so let us know if you go ahead with it. I know it's not easy and will take you another few days. Take care!
As I don't have a machine I can't say for sure but I guess it could even be made out of fabric using some stabilizers and stiffeners and good stuffing. Don't forget to add more for the seam allowances.
Will you be making a male dress form? they are hard to find also. I'm a male and would love to have a male version also. The female dress form you made looks awesome. any high end shop should use these to look "Bespoke".

Looking forward to this build ,making the smaller one first to understand how it goes together then will Have a go at the large
A work of art! Maybe a bit out of my skill range now, but I love watching you make it!
That is absolutely amazing! What an incredible accomplishment!

Thank you so much! :) Yes definitely would require a stiffener! and welcome to the club :)
for a cheaper mockup version, try using craft foam 6mm thick. what Cosplayers use to make their armor for conventions.
@@lordmugglestone I haven't found it here in Tbilisi yet but definitely would be a great option :)

I think whatever you like the most will work. I never touched a Hermann Oak but it if works for a chrome tanned it might work for just ANY veg tan!

When you buy the pattern do you get both the large and the small together.
Yes!
Could this be done with a machine, at least in part? Or definitely a hand project?
