- Jagex just hit us with a bunch of new content proposals as part of the Game Jame V, including XP lamps to be awarded from quests that currently give Combat XP Rewards. This change, including the removal of some arbitrary quest requirements, would make the new lowest combat level quest cape in OSRS become level 43!

That nex bug with the minions was a thing pre eoc, you would use dreadnips to kill crour as you do the smoke and shadow phase and it would skip the blood phase
Dreadnips...man what a throwback, not much different than thralls but dreadnips are way more nostalgic lol
I wish Jagex would add the "more punishing but solo-able" treatment to Nex before Gnome finds out how to "solo" it with 50k purple sweets and 3.1 hours of tick perfect tick eating and tick breathing.

Good luck trying to do Perilous Moons on a level 43. Protection prayers don't work there and the bosses hit hard.

I kind of wished the GDQ would have been a speed run from earlier in the game. I felt like it was hard to understand for someone who doesn't already play OSRS. Great job to AColdOne either way tho!

I think quest xp lamps are a good thing but I don’t think removing the requirements is good. They set them for a reason, not to mention you build specific builds because they are unique or more challenging. If you wanted to do quests and diaries you’d have a main.
Sounds to me they need to buff bronze/iron/ steel armor. So you dont actually need to train defence. Doesnt make sense. Purespam really needs some glasses.

The special thing about runescape is that there are these quest restrictions that create trade-offs for different account builds. Don't mess it up.
Rofl. I don't want all requirements removed, but quest requirements is absalutely not what makes the game unique

If holy grail gives defence experience and it’s said to be required to use chivalry , wouldn’t that still mean you couldn’t be a 1 defence pure with chivalry ? lol
The idea is to bring lamps into OSRS so everyone can be a 1 defence pure theoretically
some of the 1 def pure ideas seem alright but it seems like just making iron man mode and stuff easier.
It's possible to make it only for non Ironman accounts.

its about ur monitors refresh rate. you wont see difference above 60fps if ur monitor is 60hz.

dude this 1 def, 10hp pure mess is getting out of hand, just because you CHOOSE to the play the game this way (the way is not really intended) doesn't mean you get to change the whole damn quest line reqs and how the game is played for your BS play style get bent and go to LMS and play the different setups if you wanna get your dumb PK zerk fix.

I agree. I can understand some reworks like agility, but not everything needs a new BIS or a new fastest XP method. If Jagex keeps trying to appeal to people stuck in the mid game, they will move away from the core of the game.
@@WizardBear897 A lot of stuff needs reworks though. Moreover, improving the early game stuff is catering to new users to further grow the game because it will be more enjoyable. In the long run, a better early game is better for you because if there are more players, that is more money for JaGex, who will further invest and develop new harder content for late game players.

I think lowering requirements for certain things doesn’t make sense. They’re unlocks. Xp lamps for quest rewards is different but I think some things go against the general game design of RS.

We don't need new 1 def armor. But the quest reward lamps are an obvious and easy win for the community. But Reddit is flooded with sad people who want to spite-vote no to the quest reward lamps. More content = more possibilities for content creators. Make it happen!

Jagex doesn't control the price of tbows directly. Supply and demand does that. If Jagex wants to lower the price they could increase the supply by increasing the drop rate.

As a 1 defence player, I do not wish any of that passes. Why have a "restricted" account then.. this is just my personal opinion. Everyone can have their own.
They're actually adamant about never stopping. They will not quit with the weekly changes until the game is too far gone... Like I know I say this all the time.. but since 2019, it LITERALLY has not stopped.
That's one of the huge issues with RS3; oversaturation of content to the point where the game is not navigable or recognizable.

Agreed. RS3 has so much content that no one player is even remotely familiar with all of it - most of which is ironically dead content in a dead game, lol. And Jagex and many players are hell bent on making OSRS the same way.
OSRS probably has at least 3 times as much content now as on release. For a new player to learn to understand most of it must already be nearly impossible.
