So glad series like Monster and LOTGH is finally getting some sort of recognition.
They are literally like two of the best. Top 5 all time. While Monster's arguably the greatest anime of all time, Legend of the Galactic Heroes is very good and deserves a top 5 spot. I would have liked Serial Experiments Lain in Sci-fi Genre and a special genre for Cowboy Bebop i.e universally loved genre.

His favourite is Neon Genesis Evangelion followed by Serial Experiments Lain and Monster. He likes some comedy stuff though so the rest of his list is mostly comedy and other dark and serious stuff too.

First time I've seen Fruits Basket as best romance, HIGHLY accurate in my opinion.
😭Cause it is actually decent for a romance anime. For some reason anime JUST DOESN'T get romance. The male leads are toxic or it is some isekai sheets these days in the shoujo section. I would say Ore no Monogatari is a big contender for Best Romance though 😏

1:43 i personally believe that for "high stakes game" genre, titles like kaiji and liar game would be the winner. Problem is, the former is too old/heavily stylized and too intimidating for new viewers to get into and the latter has no anime (only live action), still they're much more engaging than death parade

@@ritesh146 True, 3-Gatsu is probably the best Slice of Life Drama ever to be made. The dramatic sequences don't feel forced, they actually feel real and painful. Most anime force Drama onto their storyline but end up failing because of looking like they're taking things too seriously. But in 3-Gatsu's case, everything is actually significant and serious that the Drama works so perfectly. What is your top 10 list?

One Piece is probably 10 times better than Dragon Ball at this point. Only thing in which DB might be better is fights

I agree with almost all the list except Dark Fantasy, it should be Berserk but the anime adaption might not be the best so I understand, as it is anime list.

I do agree on the idea, that full metal alchemist isn’t the best Dark Fantasy, but I personally think, that this category should go to at least Re:Zero. I believe that one of the biggest aspects of Dark Fantasy genre is character development caused by painful moments in mc‘s life. It isn’t well shown in the anime yet, but every major problem with how Subaru sees the world and his believes are being solved with every arc through pain.

Berserk is popular because of its manga and the fact it influenced alot of things. The anime is not very popular. This was about anime. Bleach was only popular for half its run. No one liked the 2nd half.
