Left out the fact that the original flavor of a Twinkie was bannana cream, which was replaced to vanilla cream during WWII because of food rationing, and the bannana didn't come back. There was a limited run on them, I think late 90s, early 2000s. And gone again.
Banana Twinkies are available now. I don’t know about banana cream, but they’re sold as banana flavor, so I would assume it’s the cream flavor rather than the sponge cake.
I tried the Twinkle when it came back a few years ago (now Canadian made). Had a bite of one, chucked the rest of the two-pack out. Just not as good as they were before leaving the states.
For non Spanish speakers, Doradito does mean “golden” however it also means something fried in oil, that when fried will actually get a darker tanned golden shade.
Try dropping a Twinkie under your car seat and then pick it up several months later It’s got so many chemicals that it still looks like you just put it there.
While in the Navy, stationed in Florida, I remember a gut wrenching 'snack introduced by locals. A chocolate moon pie washed down with 16 oz of RC🥴cola.
In Canada, they're called Girl Guide cookies, with only 2 varieties, vanilla and chocolate sandwich cookies and thin mints. All are manufactured by Christie, a giant cookie corporation in Canada. The thin mints were introduced only about 10 years ago.
Still remember when my POPS couldn't open small cabinet door In his truck,it was stuck for a few years,I finally got it opened with a pry bar, and it was a really old TWINKIE(STILL IN ITS PACKAGE)THAT DAMN THING WAS AS STRONG AS CONCRETE
Eating ANOTHER Weird History food! Eating Oreos*†...while watching this Weird History video! Kris Kardashian's Oreo Super Bowl commercial is fantastic! * Oreos are from the Weird History video "Are Oreo Cookies Really Just a Knockoff Brand?" † 2025!
Hostes sold because the workers would go on strike what seemed like a couple times a year. The owner told the employees if you keep striking for pay increases were going to go out of business. Well, those strikers and union got greedy and ended losing their jobs when Hostess decided to close and sell. Now the building is one of the largest homeless shelters in the Midwest. I miss the smell of the bread baking and the discount hostess store down the street where they sold overstock.
This is good until time stamp 1:01:06 when the good narrator’s clips stop and it turns to one of the other ones something about lunchables anyway who cares
This channel is better advertising than anything these companies could think of. Every video I watch makes me want to buy whatever it's about

Happy New Year Everyone!
Happy New Year!
You missed that lunchable that had chicken nuggets and a pouch of flavor powder you were supposed to shake them in
Bagel Bites are absolutely disgusting now. and lunchables needs to bring back that sauce. :P
Some of my favorite desserts. Try the Twinkie deep fried.
Try dropping a Twinkie under your car seat and then pick it up several months later

@@glennso47 That's what makes them good. RFK will change their recipe. Drastically. I gave up sugar and those dyes 20 years ago.

18:28 They need to bring back the Mango Habanero Doritos.
The Zinger was actually produced by Dolly Madison, which Hostess acquired in the 1960s.
pop tart bowl lives on..well not for the pop tart tho! lol
Who didn't like school house rock, I'm just a bill on capital hill
What's that got to do with junk food??? Idiot🤷
Conjunction junction, what's your function? 🎵
The original filling on the Twinkie was banana cream...hey Hostess " Bring it Back..along with the Chocolate Cupcake without that cream filling...
What? Pop tarts are a breakfast thing and not a midnight snack thing!?!? 😂
What about Suzy-Qs?!?! Best Hostess baked good. Great when frozen, Ho-ho's also

I miss Habanero Doritos. I live in Canada,. but i think they were discontinued in the U.S. as well.
AI back oh boy
Why is the young Ward's face blocked out?
Lol, I thought it was just blurry 😁
Edit: Oh! Thought you meant the very first guy. Sorry, lol
Too young for youtube
Probably couldn’t get permission from anyone in the company to use their image in the video.
They should make Doritos puffs
Doritos broke my heart when they discontinued the Guacamole flavor. It was the king, way better than the sour cream one.
This is the first video released by weird history food in the year 2025.
Yay!💥
Jumpin Jack Doritos were tasty!
Is this a re-upload?
lmao nice
Shortly after cool ranch Domino's there also was a Monterey jack doritos
4:13 Did Jack Black transport back in time?
22:17
diabolical
1:06:39 there was never a red plastic stick in the pizza lunchables.
talk about it but never show it
Some people really don’t like Oreos

Well, I guess they seized the means of production like they wanted. They just didn't realize that meant they got nothing at all lol.
I'm sure you know 1st handed of what exactly happened.. idiot 😂
Like you know ...idiot

20:36 people are annoying! I want to try these! Stop being irresponsible and trying to get good things banned😭
The Twinkies just don't taste the same anymore.
Thats so stupid she sold a puffed up chip for 20k.. ive found a few of them, one fully puffed and a couple half/quarter puffed…
I coulda been rich
Hydrogenated vegetable oil and sugar, with some sort of fun flavor. It's no wonder we're so healthy in America
Sugar, salt and fat! That's where it's at.
What I miss most of all is how the old packaging looked. No creativity these days. Just like the new McDonald's buildings.
This is good until time stamp
1:01:06 when the good narrator’s clips stop and it turns to one of the other ones something about lunchables anyway who cares
Rude. 😢
blacked out faces are fairly new to this channel's content. what gives? or doesn't?
I wondered that too. In one case it's just the guy's eyes?
If only the previous company ran hostess, they were much better back then, nowadays don't like them
Hydrox are better than Oreo and I will die on that hill.
I still refuse to buy anything from nabisco
66th
