I have been asked about pipe inserts, I had an email from John Guest Technical dept today to confirm that inserts are not required on cold water services but recommended they be fitted on hot water services. So I will be adding tube inserts to the hot water joints, fortunately I made sure it was all accessible and not hidden away.
Iseeu Allgood, a few guys in the comments have mentioned the need for inserts to be used. I checked with John Guest and they have confirmed the above. The insert is placed into the end of the cut pipe to stiffen it, especially on hot water services as the pipe becomes more pliable with heat. Can get them for just under 50p each and fortunately I only need about 20 so under a tenner. 😃
Hi Sandy :D I'm guessing your house is less likely to be moving around much, so less vibration and risk, than in a van. You not building a spa deck on the roof, for the ultimate hot tub views ;D lol
i asked yesterday but after editing my message to include other questions i forgot to leave the question about inserts , The reason i asked was because im doing a van like Gregs but not up to date on latest materials , i used to own a loft conversion company and had a very bad experience caused by a plumber that didn't use inserts. days after completing the job one of the pushfit joints popped and caused severe damage to ceilings and rooms below. i also remember cold joints slightly leaking without inserts, im not a plumber .. maybe theres less pressure or heat in a camper system so it wont be a problem . dunno ?? the other thing got me thinking was that the inserts will make the pipe slighty more narrow at the connections , could that affect flow needed or pressure etc ?
@@markusmack2732 don't think the inserts will make any difference in the presure or flow, they are quite thin. In a camper/boat the water pump is often turned off when the water is not in use and a leak will therefore not lead to a bigg spill.
Hi regards the inserts on the blue pipe you should put inserts on all your fittings the reason for this isn’t to just strengthen the pipe it’s there to stop the pipe from cutting the O ring in the fitting. when you cut the pipe with your pipe splice it will have sharp edges the insert will give it rounded edges. you might get away with not putting inserts in several times but one day you will find the pipe will cut the O ring in the fitting and leak and if the fittings in a awkward place it could make it very hard work. 😉

Greg, thank you. I have a load of info at the back of my brain but bringing it to the fore requires a nudge. you give it. Mind you, at 83 I really should slow down and hand over to my son ,,,,,,,, and tell him to watch your videos
don't know what to say, your have the whole package, the know how,the attention to detail, the presentation,I planned to watch an unfinished movie tonight, but can't stop watching your video, and there is not a part I can skip, full of information, thank you.
I can only imagine it comes from years of sitting in numerous boardroom meetings with clients and architects and having to explain an HVAC system that I have designed and convince them that my project is the one to go for.
Just seen so many good and bad how to vid-blogs, but yours are just so clean and to the point without all the preamble, music and waffle. They are just so helpful, Thank you
Great video Greg, I followed your instructions exactly, did away with the old submersible pump and don’t have to put up with the old system continually kicking in to keep the pressure up. Thanks for taking the time post.
That is the most straightforward water service video for campervan conversion I've ever seen - Thanks! Looking forward to the rest as I progress with my van
I find its handy to have an isolator between the filter and the pump. That way you can clear the filter without having to turn off the pump and empty the accumulator by turning on a tap. It saves water and effort when servicing. Videos are great by the way, really appreciate the effort put in.
This pump has inbuild checkvalve so water will not flow backwards when you clean the filter. If your pump does not have this valve you can install one just after the pump to prevent water from flowing backwards :)
You're an excellent teacher, Greg. For someone who has no practical knowledge and experience with any of these things, you make it seem so achievable by any average Joe.
You are perfectionist ! each and every component and equipment is selected with due consideration to health , safety and regulations. I love the way you make it simple to understand and keep away jargons. My salute to you as Guru of van conversions. Please accept my regards.
My plan was to try as much as possible to give the correct advice which would be most useful to others and help them make informed decisions for their own builds. Thanks for watching
Your voice is so calm and you make complicated things for people like me look so simple, taking all the anxiety of a van build out. We are getting a Ducato xlwb in April for a build to use for our 2020 Christmas trip to Lapland and I don't think I have to go anywhere for my research now. Thanks Greg you are a top bloke, if I see you in camp quirky or NEC your favourite tipple is on me
Sir, you are an amazing teacher. I had no idea how to start a my conversion, but your videos demystify the whole process a lot. Thank you very much and have a couple pints on me 🍻
Honestly Greg you save me so much time and effort, I'm in the middle of a van build that I'm living in as I go and I'm about to start designing my kitchen block including water systems. I hadn't done any research yet about even what pump I might want to use, and now I feel like I don't really need to other than scaling everything down for my requirements. You're an absolutely top bloke, cheers! I'd happily buy you a carton/bottle of your favourite drink as compensation :D
I Have a 2005 Ford transit LWB High roof but not the jumbo with 200 km on the clock, that I picked up for a bargain It actually died on me as i drove it home, but the dealer was obligated to fix it so I got all new injectors and fuel pump, such luck! I'll be putting in an arduino and raspberry pi to track interesting statistics, hopefully in the next few months will have something to show :)
That sounds very interesting Sam. Do you already have a YT channel, or Facebook page link? Would love to see Arduino video when it becomes available. Regards Mark in the UK
Hello Mark, I accidentally removed your comment instead of pressing reply. Very sorry, would you mind posting your question about tube size and colour again. Sorry slip of the finger 😐
Your videos are perfectly executed and they’re probably the one thing that will make me break the barrier between dreaming and doing. It’s been impossible to find a city camper for a family of 5 with my added preference of an outdoor/semi outdoor kitchen solution. I’ve realized I have to do it myself and you’ve shown me the way. Thank you for doing this!
It really is possible, I have lots of theoretical knowledge but minimal practical experience. What I know is through research, watching other like myself and loads of practice. But definitely have a go, the sense of satisfaction will be worth it. Each task is like a goal for me.
Just recently found your channel while researching during my own van conversion. The switch change on your tap sums up your approach, you don't take the cheap the easy or the quick way, just the correct way. Your attention to detail and quality of workmanship put factory builds in the shade with the added bonus that you have your van the way you want, not what someone else thinks you should want. I have to say you inspire me and demoralise me in equal measure :-)
Hello, welcome to the channel and thanks for dropping me a message. I hope with these videos to give you the tools to have a go yourself and feel more confident doing it. You are spot on with the switch, it's those little details that will make me smile.
I totally agree, the little things that take so much time, often things that no one will ever see or ever notice but worth doing anyway, just because..
Thanks for your video, although I knew how to install the water system, but it is so comfortable and enjoyable to watch your video, make me relaxed and mean while pick up some useful information I might miss out! Thank you!!!
Hi Greg, Bet you're a fantastic cook as well! You've clearly grasped and mastered the whole DIY skills, how can we even begin to compare with your skillset? Great informative videos, huge thanks for sharing.
Awesome videos. I bought my first motorhome and it needs some serious modifications and renovations on water, gas and electric systems. I now have a place to learn how to do it all the good way, your channel. Thanks, man. Cheers from Portugal
Thank you for watching and hope they help you with your new project. We are travelling to Portugal soon as it’s one of our favourite countries to visit 🤩
Greg. Your video tutorials are absolutely brilliant. I have been looking at a number of van conversion videos, as I am planning my own and all that you have done is pretty much bang on to what I have planned......these step by step videos not only give me confidence to take that step and do one but will undoubtedly safe so much time and prevent some potential cock-ups along the way. Yours are definitely the best I have seen. Great work and lovely van. Cheers.
Another excellent video, as always. Thank you. May I suggest a foot operated switch for the sink. A pedal mounted to the floor, similar to those used on sewing machines. Many advantages to this. Switch on tap not needed, handsfree operation, more hygenic, less water spilt around base of the tap, massive saving in overall water usage ! I have the same Whale submersible pump. It's been under water now for nearly 4 years. Amazingly reliable.
This small switched faucet is only for a small drinking water supply, minimal use. The main kitchen tap is a large mixer with spray nozzle fed off the pressure pump system and has running hot and cold water, just like at home :D
I tell you what your videos are absolutely brilliant and I love the fact you put everything in the description links. Later on this year me and my girlfriend are hoping to do our own van conversion was going to pay some people to do the majority of the work but actually watching your videos with how well you put everything together and all the information you give I actually feel like some of the stuff I was going to pay people to do I could probably take on myself so just want to say thank you for your great videos
Hi I am just bought a half finished project and stripped it back to the shell I am now starting on a self build and stumbled across your videos Mine is an ex police crafter so the sprinter stuff is very relavant. Your videos are just the right amount of help telling us what to do and why we do it. You have done such a lot of work to help others I am impressed my Covid 19 lock down now does not seem so bad Cheers Greg
Brilliant instructional video, learned loads from this. Currently on holiday in motorhome and have virtually notingg coming out of taps with SHURflo pump running. I think I have a blocked inlet filter, will check in morning. Thanks for great information.
Monica Martinez if you are looking at water services have you seen my latest water video? ua-cam.com/video/7gieUNuZan4/v-deo.html There is also a free schematic to download.
Great stuff... We all owe you Greg. Paving the way ahead with good will, good karma, good vibrations, etc. Hard to get my work done now that I'm so excited to build my van! Thanks!
Hi John, it’s a great feeling. I have lived and breathed my can for the last year. It has consumed most of my time but it’s been the most exiting time because I know what it can give me back. Freedom
Hi Greg, I fitted the SHURflo 4009 water pump, 11LPM. This pump has an internal bypass that removes the need for an external pressure accumulator. One less fitting that can fail. I went with flexible food quality water hose, brass fittings and circular clamps - this is probably considered an older, redundant technology but I used it simply for the better bend radius of the hose, much fewer elbows and shorter runs. With quality fittings, probably runs to the same price as John Guest system. Time will tell for realiability. Thanks for you excellent presentations.
@@GregVirgoe I've got my pump mounted under the sink and you do hear a low puttputtputt, but definately not annoying as the water flow sound into the sink pretty well drowns it out. I didn't bother to box it in with soundproofing. I did have a small leak in a joint and the pump alerted me to it by cutting in and out (putt...15sec...putt). With the pressure accumulator you may not get this leak warning.
Thank you for the info Norman. I did quite a bit of searching, and couldn't find a SHURflo 4009 model, but did find 4008. After a bit more searching, I went for the Aqua King 2 version as the spec seemed really good for the price. It's 11Litres per minute, 30psi, and has an adjustable internal bypass to remove the need for an accumulator.
Brilliant and well explained. I'd love to see you connecting up a fiamma water tank (big blue one) and explain the various fittings for fill , supply, and any venting. That's probably obvious to you but is a minefield for the uninitiated into the dark art of plumbing connectors.
Hi Greg I am in the process of converting a van and I have been so impressed by your videos. Your level of detail is just right and I have learnt so much from you. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.
Wow. Another great explanatory video. If only you had been my teacher who knows where I would have ended up. Thanks for all your efforts putting these videos together.
Not only i learn how to do water supply in van but as well I learn what is the names of that products. Very handy for foreign person living in UK. Thanks
Without you Greg, I wouldn't even try to attempt doing anything by myself next summer, when I will be starting my conversion. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge! I would recommend joining either Amazon's or eBay's Affiliate program! This would in return provide an extra revenue for you every time someone purchases a product through your unique links! (I am not sure if you are doing it already or not with eBay.) Looking forward to the future videos!
Thank you, yes the eBay links are affiliated, It's really helpful if viewers use the links as a no-cost way of saying thank you for my time. It gives me just a small bit of pocket money but all helps.
OH NO! I just realised after binge watching all of the conversion videos, that there is no more!! Aye Caramba @Greg Virgoe. Now I will have to talk to my wife for severel days, till the next one comes out. I am so looking forward to the last ones and of course the ones you will be doing on your trip. Me and the wife are same age as you and your little talk in the video about doing the trip now has got me thinking. Just going to pick up a 2000 Citroen Jumper tomorrow and the nearly new interior from a hobby camper van. And I will be building it over the winter here i Denmark. So I can surely use a lot of your good advice and trying to imitate the meticulous way you plan - which is NOT my strongest side.
I always share these videos and push for some subscriptions. Greg, your videos are phenomenal, by far one of the best UA-camrs out there with in depth, fascinating, descriptive videos that make your series an education and a pleasure to watch. Youve inspired me at some point not only to go ahead with a conversion when I have the means, but also to undertake some trade study, be it basics in electrics, carpentry, and other relevant areas to better clue myself up on this stuff. I love the scientific aspects you put in the videos too, from considerations of contamination, to physics phenomena which not only enlighten from a scientific perspective but also from a functional standpoint (like limiting pressure inside the system.) I always learn a lot from your videos, and what an amazing series, sad to see it nearing its end but I imagine you have made a huge difference to a substantial community interested in undertaking a conversion and self installations, at least you have to me. I cant wait for the next videos. As always, a huge thanks for your share :)
I cannot say thank you enough for your fantastic comment. That makes my day to hear you say that. It's so worth all the effort when guys like yourself appreciate the content. I do plan to continue the channel, during the tour and when we return so hope you will stay tuned.
The pleasure is all mine, Greg, and all those others you've helped and inspired. Enjoy your tour, and stay safe, I won't miss your uploads don't worry :P Cheers :)
Great. you explain it so well you must be a teacher or something, anyway /from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your well explained videos and content that you are sharing. You have helped me a lot with so may questions I had. Keep on doing what you are doing, brilliant!
Very good video, answered lots of my questions , you have a great way of getting all the information across in a simple to understand format that anyone can follow, I especially like the way you don't just do what everyone else is doing, you look at all the options and then make your decision what to use based on your needs and what is best for the job in your opinion. Hey , that's why I'm watching your video's, thanks for sharing the information you have collected. Cheers
GMCBURBAN a lot is based on the knowledge and experience of working in mechanical services for over 30yrs the remainder I research but always based on facts and not just copied from someone else for no reason. Thank you for watching our videos
Another big thanks Greg for all the great advice. I’ve just started my van conversion and your videos are really giving me the confidence to tackle all aspects of the build. Been out today and purchased the materials for the floor build, so let the fun begin! Thanks again.
Hi Greg although this doesn't apply to me presently, when I get an upgrade from my 92 Plymouth Voyager after saving up for the bit I will be able to refer back too many of your videos ... So much thanks for the 411. Much appreciated! Hope you're having a great weekend. Peace and blessings bye bye for now🎉🎊🎇🎆👍😄
Your attention to detail is amazing. Without a doubt the best van build on UA-cam. Thanks for all the videos Greg, your videos are an inspiration to any budding van builder. If you get bored, feel free to come round my house and help me build mine😁😁😁 One more thing, was I right about the bamboo worktop?
The switch you used for the water are the same as the ones we use when building a vape mod. They are available here in the UK from companies like modmaker.
Fantastic video again! I love the detail and methodical thought process! I would have liked to see how you drilled the hole in the floor to bring up the tubes from the water tank though; and most importantly how you'd re-seal the floor to prevent water and other elements from the underside going into the cabin. Regardless, GREAT WORK GREG! KEEP IT UP M8!
There is video of me cutting a hole in the Truma install video out very soon. simply just a case of going through all the layers with a Bi-Metal holes saw from top to bottom until you are through the lot, paint the raw edges and seal up with sikaflex and spray underneath with waxoyl for added protection.
Top Gun! It's a shitty rainy 2nd day of Spring here in Melbourne and your video reminded me that Summer is coming and I'll be building a Jerry Can water setup (My 73 Kombi is not a camper but I rig it for weekend and week at a time camping). So this video has given me some great idea's :)
Thank you for sharing, all very useful stuff. My subscription to my UA-cam channel jumped by 100 this week after you mentioned me on the 3x3 challenge. You beautiful guy, I also text “Cruising The Cut” telling him to upload his. Thank you so much Greg, not looking forward to the van conversion coming to an end but I’m sure you’ll upload about your travels when you’re on the road. Thank you, you’re a star 👍😄
Great question Kim, I have three drain locations. Each tank has a 3/4” drain valve fitted to a hose clipped to the skirt of the van. The third drain is at the low point on the cold feed to the boiler. This is covered in the boiler video.
Great. As you explain, questions go through my mind and you then answer them. Only question left is how well this piping/fitting system will hold up with movement and vibration on the road.
This is what I have just asked you about in your previous video and you made it here , thank you so much , I’m getting able to make my motor van step by step video after video, thank you again
Brilliant as usual I was getting a bit confused as to where it all goes but this has completely explained it. Also thank you for putting parts in the description that is going to really help. Good job Greg.
Greg your attention to detail is superb ,if you ever decide to sell your van and upgrade (to carry more weight) I would be more than happy to take it off your hands mate
These are the best and most informative videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them. I’m building a defender camper and would have been lost without your help. Thanks 😀👍
Hi Greg I’m in the middle of a build and as a joiner the electrical side is a bit alien to me. I’ve taken the liberty of using your wiring diagram as have same van ( Fiat Ducato) with the water and heating set up too. Really don’t want to install the heater as this is only for weekends away. Is there a cheaper alternative that will work with that system. I e watched a huge amount of videos but keep coming back to yours due to your knowledge, but for me your perfection on installation and direction does it for me. Keep up the good work. Thank you Scott
I’m going to be fitting a Chinese diesel heater in the budget build van all in for under £200. Water heating will just be by boiling a kettle as you never need much for a cuppa or bit of washing up 👍🏼
You give clear and concise information and demonstration. I have found them really helpful - even though I’m in Aussie you explain how systems work/should work and use proper terminology which means I can source the correct products here. Thanks heaps and keep them coming.

I’ve seen plenty of DIY camper van videos, probably hundreds! But yours are by far are the most detailed and easily explained! Thank you so much.
Cheers.
Thank you. I wanted to make sure the information I was giving out was sound advise and really helpful.
Outstanding clear concise demonstration as always Greg. Thanks again champ, from Australia 🙏🏻 🌟
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I'm pleased that you are finding these videos to be useful
There’s no reason why you can’t do most of it yourself. Hundreds of people from all background have done so.
@@GregVirgoe I just think a lot of it is down to confidence to be honest
Master builder, master demonstrator, master educator. What's not to like 👍😊
Kind praise indeed, thank you Kat
Hi I am just bought a half finished project and stripped it back to the shell I am now starting on a self build and stumbled across your videos Mine is an ex police crafter so the sprinter stuff is very relavant. Your videos are just the right amount of help telling us what to do and why we do it. You have done such a lot of work to help others I am impressed my Covid 19 lock down now does not seem so bad Cheers Greg
inkywarmsp hope it gives you some info to help you with your build. 😃👍🏼
Brilliant instructional video, learned loads from this. Currently on holiday in motorhome and have virtually notingg coming out of taps with SHURflo pump running. I think I have a blocked inlet filter, will check in morning. Thanks for great information.
Thank you Greg for helping us van conversionists out. Im gonna start one soon and basically studiyng your serie every day!
Victor Pettersson great hope they are useful for you
You are the best!!! thank you for this... I looked for days and days. yours is the best clearer water diagram in the network. Thank you
Monica Martinez if you are looking at water services have you seen my latest water video? ua-cam.com/video/7gieUNuZan4/v-deo.html
There is also a free schematic to download.
@@GregVirgoe would you happen to have the gas diagrams and supplies?
Great stuff... We all owe you Greg. Paving the way ahead with good will, good karma, good vibrations, etc. Hard to get my work done now that I'm so excited to build my van! Thanks!
Hi John, it’s a great feeling. I have lived and breathed my can for the last year. It has consumed most of my time but it’s been the most exiting time because I know what it can give me back. Freedom
It really is great seeing how all this stuff works, living overseas in a hot country we just keep bottled water in the fridge
Hi Greg,
I fitted the SHURflo 4009 water pump, 11LPM.
How do you find the noise on the pump?
Did you do anything to make it quieter?
@@GregVirgoe
I've got my pump mounted under the sink and you do hear a low puttputtputt, but definately not annoying as the water flow sound into the sink pretty well drowns it out.
Best campervan water setup explanation on the internet.
Its great to know they are appreciated.
Cheers Dave
nice one mate you have taken my fear away and I'm ready to get cracking. lots of simple interesting facts and a massive help. thank you
Pleased that it has helped you. Good luck with your build.
Thank you, yes the eBay links are affiliated,
It's really helpful if viewers use the links as a no-cost way of saying thank you for my time.
I love the scientific aspects you put in the videos too, from considerations of contamination, to physics phenomena which not only enlighten from a scientific perspective but also from a functional standpoint (like limiting pressure inside the system.)
I always learn a lot from your videos, and what an amazing series, sad to see it nearing its end but I imagine you have made a huge difference to a substantial community interested in undertaking a conversion and self installations, at least you have to me.
Enjoy your tour, and stay safe, I won't miss your uploads don't worry :P
Cheers :)
Great. you explain it so well you must be a teacher or something, anyway /from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your well explained videos and content that you are sharing. You have helped me a lot with so may questions I had. Keep on doing what you are doing, brilliant!
Just saved me another 5 hours of research. Many thanks
My pleasure, pleased it was useful to you
Very good video, answered lots of my questions , you have a great way of getting all the information across in a simple to understand format that anyone can follow, I especially like the way you don't just do what everyone else is doing, you look at all the options and then make your decision what to use based on your needs and what is best for the job in your opinion.
That's excellent news Steve, send me some pics on social media :D
Thank you so much sir, you have mate an excellent video. Now im not soo intimidated by installing plumbing, bravo!
I have a playlist of essential videos that is also worth a look. Cheers 🍻
Another ace video. With such amazing explanations of all the kit, and how it works
Your videos are so stinking helpful. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
You are welcome 🤗
Hi Greg although this doesn't apply to me presently, when I get an upgrade from my 92 Plymouth Voyager after saving up for the bit I will be able to refer back too many of your videos ... So much thanks for the 411. Much appreciated! Hope you're having a great weekend. Peace and blessings bye bye for now🎉🎊🎇🎆👍😄
Your attention to detail is amazing. Without a doubt the best van build on UA-cam.
Thanks for all the videos Greg, your videos are an inspiration to any budding van builder.
If you get bored, feel free to come round my house and help me build mine😁😁😁
One more thing, was I right about the bamboo worktop?
Yes, it is Bamboo, well spotted.
Thanks for a great comment
Absolutely spot on mate. Just what I was hoping to find. Clear, concise and full of useful info without the jargon. Top banana!
The switch you used for the water are the same as the ones we use when building a vape mod. They are available here in the UK from companies like modmaker.
Hi Greg, Another great video on the pump fittings, looking forward to the boiler and solar panels install. Cheers John
I think everyone is hanging on for those ones :D
The boiler was a dream to install, so easy.
I feel the need.... :D
Hi Gary, you are most welcome my friend, sorry that it came with challenges though, are you going to do a video?
And another wonderful video....
Delivered with a winning style.
Clear, calm, professional.
Well done Greg and thank you.
Looking forward to the boiler video, and a final full tour?
Highlight of my week when I get a couple of minutes to watch you new video Greg. Another great informative video, thanks!
Also, got my new t-shirt the other day. Will send you a pic of it in use in my demountable 😂
Hi Kim, that will be fantastic, really look forward to that, cheers 😃
By the way Greg, have you installed any drain points in the system? For winter storage.
As it's flexible, I would say it will fair better than say rigid copper pipework that has no give in it.
Great demo Greg very informative and attention to detail you touched on a couple of things I would probably have missed so thanks.
pleased it was helpful to you
This is what I have just asked you about in your previous video and you made it here , thank you so much , I’m getting able to make my motor van step by step video after video, thank you again
Kamal Kamalino hopefully they do give you plenty of information to help you 😀
Plumb delighted with this video Greg, just what I needed to complete my system update in the Alero bus, thankyou.
Great thats just perfect thanks very much
Really wish you were here doing this bus with me
Brilliant as usual I was getting a bit confused as to where it all goes but this has completely explained it. Also thank you for putting parts in the description that is going to really help.
Good job Greg.
Greg your attention to detail is superb ,if you ever decide to sell your van and upgrade (to carry more weight) I would be more than happy to take it off your hands mate
I've made a note Dave, ;D lol
Excellent setup the misses has now insisted we have this drinking water setup.. :-) Parts purchased just waiting for the new switch..
Totally excellent - truly a van build guru. - Cheers Greg. many thanks
Once again a fantastic video, you certainly spend time researching things, cheers Greg
If I ever get into anything I like to know as much as I can.
I have a thirst for knowledge on whatever it may be :D
Simply brilliant as per usual Greg
Thank you very much 👍🏼😊
Yet another clear, concise vid, Mr V.
My pleasure Don, Cheers
Your videos are so clear and simple mate. Thanks so much for making them. I really appreciate it. Subscribed.
jackwednesday glad you like them and thank you for subbing 👍🏼😊
Greg Virgoe is the Datum for U Tube Self Build Advice.... proper Leg-End
That's really nice, thank you :D
Simply the very best conversion series on UA-cam. Thank you so much.
Many thanks for the compliment
These are the best and most informative videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them.
I’m building a defender camper and would have been lost without your help.
Thanks 😀👍
Greg Virgoe- the campervan guru.
Could the pumps be housed under the van near the tanks in an enclosed housing to a) negate any sound and b) allow for more room within the van?
Greg, nothing I can really add that others haven't already said. Best channel on UA-cam, in my opinion.
But its so much better that it came from you too, thank you Mark
always so easy to follow greg, you have a real talent for teaching.
Brilliant Greg simply brilliant. Very informative and nice to see we’re virtually chosen the same set up ideas
Hi Greg
I’m in the middle of a build and as a joiner the electrical side is a bit alien to me.
Thank you
Scott
I’m going to be fitting a Chinese diesel heater in the budget build van all in for under £200. Water heating will just be by boiling a kettle as you never need much for a cuppa or bit of washing up 👍🏼
Well done watching from Colorado USA.
Excellent video, very much appreciated 👍
Excellent top quality and well explained video Greg, one of my top 10 you tube channels!
That's fantastic news Chris!
Who are the other nine? lol
You give clear and concise information and demonstration. I have found them really helpful - even though I’m in Aussie you explain how systems work/should work and use proper terminology which means I can source the correct products here. Thanks heaps and keep them coming.
I've just discovered your channel. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Top work as ever these videos are setting the standard for Van builds for many years to come...👍👍..JG Speedfit also sponsor Road Racer James Hillier..
Thank you very much. I’m not sponsored by JG. I purchased all these items myself. 👍🏼😀
Thank you for this video Greg! You are brilliant. The links are also extremely helpful!
