Lol this was my first ever “big” coaster, In 2007-2008 I went with my best friend cuz we got off a family ride and got all confident and we screamed our butts our in this exact row
I have to say it’s a much more enjoyable ride now that it’s smooth but it seems so much slower now. I’m sure it runs at the same speed but the roughness added to the intensity. I’m not sure if you guys noticed that
Okay, I can’t stand this, I* have not been to KI within 1 and 1/2 weeks I NEED to go I broke my streak* of going 2 times a week :( (I’ve gone five times this season)
I’m befuddled that in 2022 we can’t get this this to run it’s full speed. Shorten the trains, get new trains, reprofile the track, reinforce with steel what ever needs done but let this baby run (see the voyage at HW.. unfortunately the beast has been neutered since the beginning of time) it kinda screams “not well engineered”
I agree with all of this. However you have to give credit where credit is due for an in house build. It’s just a confusing ride now with a GCI control panel, in house coaster, and gravity group track. 🥃🤌🏽
gotta agree with you, guy. The re-track got rid of the roughness, but it honestly feels like a wooden monorail with all of those trims constantly slowing it down.
That final helix looks so smooth now with the retrack! Can't wait to ride it in October later this year!
Uh yea it’s not smooth it’s very painful 😓
@@xoblinkzzz4598 I just rode it last weekend. That helix was smoother than the last turn before the second lift hill.
Corking POV, 10/10 as always!
Thank you sir.🥃
So glad I got to ride the beast this year it was insanely smooth definitely surprised me
I love that coaster!! Wish I can go back to kings island to ride it. Haha
A ride so damn long that you can interact with the other 2 trains between start and finish. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Great POV as always!

Is the beast POV 5K 60fps back row RE-TRACK Infamous Wooden Roller coaster kings Island Mason, OH June 18, 2022!
What ?
WOW, that's a long train! How many cars in total?
I’m pretty sure like 6? But each cart has 3 rows of 2 seats
6 cars
What a sweet camera angle, how much smoother is this coaster after the re-track? I assume its very noticeable?
It is very noticeable 🤌🏽
There is a pothole right after the first left turn
At 1:27
Ahhh, my baby! This is what rollercoaster wetdreams are made of! 🤣👍🤘

So is your footage allowed for use if we credit you?
Yessir 🥃
The only thing that I have a complaint about with the retrack is when you enter the helix that hard yank to the right is gone.
i wish they re-did the lift system, slow lift hills are annoying😭
Shame it slows down hard out of no where.
