One of the most moving experiences of my life was when I found one running loose, as thought it had escaped from it's owner. Tried, diligently, for some time, to find the owner and re-unite them, with no success. Sad story with a happy-ending because the little guy bumped into someone who sure learned to love and appreciate him. What a bond!

Like sealing all holes in the wall, under cabinets in kitchen & bathroom, around stove & fridge. Be careful if have a lazy boy chair, as the reclining mechanism could hurt your narcoleptic kleptomaniacs.
I'm jealous of how *little* snow they've got ; _ ; I love my country, but I really, really wish it had been just a little further south. Few things are as miserable as long stretches of cold snow and sunless days. So much mental illness caused by these condition alone.

But it can also be due to all the artificial light of the humans. The ferrets seem to be more night and twilight active. With all the artificial light, they can no longer properly call up their winter/summer coat program.

I can't think of anything my ferret would like less than playing in the snow. He doesn't even like to go outside if its even 20c. But I live in Australia and he's used to warmer weather. Anything under 20c and all he wants to do is curl up in his blankets and sleep.

Chaotic Clyde 23? Wow! I’ve only ever dreamed of adopting that many animals once I buy a house with a lot of land to accommodate them. How do you do it? Ferrets are great. TheSpirtDrifter, I love it, keeps me busy and helps with the PTSD and depression problems. They are all trained to go on puppy pads that I replace several times a day. They do kinda have run of the house, but I think I got lucky they are not very destructive. They have a crap load of toys and cardboard boxes. Ferret count every night before bed. Several often climb up and sleep with me. I would not change it for the world.
u realize ferrets will only do that if the harness doesnt fit or if its not tight enough right? because my baby dont get out of her harness and ur supposed to put it tight then put ur pinky through it and see if it fits comfortably

They're smart lil buggers. Maybe he purposely ran away from his previous owner. One of mine runs away, but always comes back after 6-8 hours

If you still have them, try a leash! I think they make some for ferrets
