Hi mate have you got one that will get me out of the Profile page, I have too firestick the same 4K and the 4K max. None of the remotes will pair with them.
I've tried new batteries and I bought a new remote and that was a waste of money. None of the remotes seem to have a blue light when trying to pare it. I think thay are in some sort of boot. Both of them got stuck in Profile after amazon update it seems loads of people had the same with the 4K max. Now I have too firestick worth over £100 ready for the bin good for amazon not for me.
I would say I could help do it for you, but sounds like you are in the UK. Did you try using the fire app and putting the stick in pairing mode? It shouldnt be a hard process, if it is, I would return everything for a replacement
I did try the firestick app but I didn't know how to put remote into pairing mode. You said it was best to send them back but the 4K might be years old and the max was one of the first. Tell me how I can send them back for a refund please.
Did you hold the menu button, the back button and the left directional button for 10 seconds? That’s the pairing mode and remote reset. It has to be within 10 feet and no other firestick close to it. If that doesn’t work you have to call Amazon for replacement

You tried a different HDMI port? You tried a different cable? You tried to unplug the power to your actual tv and firestick and waited 60 seconds and plugged both back in?
Remote will not pair with the tv and tablet does not recognize the tv and allow me to cast. Fire stick will come on and display but I can't control what is on. TV problem? Fire stick problem? Remote problem? Internet problem? Tried numerous "tricks", nothing has worked.
@@CuriosityCafe No VPN. Can't access the TV to see the network settings. Tablet was casting but now says "no devices found". Rebooted router without any changes.
They will need to be on the same wifi network. So I would start there. I cast on my sticks always. Only had issues when I used an alternate wifi or vpn. Try restarting both the stick and the tablet and make sure both are on the same wifi

Yes, just have to connect the firestick to your account with the alexa app. You can also call amazon if you can't figure it out and they can assist.

It’s synced to your firestick, but you have to go into settings to connect to your tv. Did you do this? Settings, then equipment

Impossible to get hacked with express vpn. Did you not have it active? I’ve done enough videos about it to make sure everyone is protected
