- Skoda kushaq problems is what we are going to discuss today and since it's launch Skoda has suffered a lot of complaints and this has not changed much today but is it true that it comes with a lot of problems and these problems are major ones and it could hinder the ownership experience if you are planning to purchase this car?
I drive the Skoda kushaq 1.0 l TSI manual transmission also the all new 1.5 litre TSI dsg gearbox to tell you all about the car this includes the drive performance overall handling balance and the ride quality in rough terrains.
Volkswagen taigun is the other option that you have and this car also is built on the same platform so in terms of safety this car performs really well like other Skoda and Volkswagen cars and in terms of minor accidents Kushaq will keep you safe.
Skoda kushaq is finally here and this is one of the most anticipated cars from the Volkswagen group with the new platform specification for India a lot of things can change for Volkswagen and Skoda in India.

All said & done about Skoda Kushaq. Beyond doubt its a very good Car. But the sales figure of 1500 Units/month does not reflect its big acceptance against crowded and midsize 4.3 Mts SUV segment in India. You definately need Big nos. to survive in India.
Unless you do not offer entry levels Cars in Sub 4 Mts for less than ₹9.5 lacs on Road its not easy for VW-Skoda in India.
they use india as exporting hub to other regions in the world , they dont care much about the sales figures in domestic market, ofcourse they would want it to be high , but they dont focus much on india

For many years Nissan Micra & Sunny were made in India & exported. They started selling in India very late. And later they discontinued as well.
People made ford leave despite being strong built and performance just because mileage aacha hai aur resale value hai.
My ford service was even cheaper than maruti, and i am talking about diesel here. My older hyundai was much costlier.
Sales figure of kushaq per month is around 2.2k+, taigun is around same.. combined for platform they are doing close to 4.5k per month which is not bad
Even Virtus , Slavia sales have been better than city. Narrative needs to be changed if we need good cars in India. Else keep driving inside a tin box of north east aisa.
Car for me is a mechanical component first and then add ons on electronics, but somehow people choose electronics components over mechanical features.
Every car will have a pro and con. Nothing will be perfect ever but unnecessary cribbing about service rattling is upsetting. Skoda is offering a wonderful service package and also about 8 year’s warranty through extended warranty program. This should make you understand their strategy to increase services and vision for India business.
So many youtubers i see have unnecessary tittles which makes you real feel if these cars are that bad, and the tittles are misleading just to gain views. But if you don’t go through the video you just gain a perception.
I am not a fanboy of any skoda, although i have booked a slavia, since I didn’t see a better option available.
To me ford was brilliant in every aspect but then it breaks my heart that companies like maruti continue to enjoy at the risk of peoples lives.
Take my word, the day govt issues a norm of mandatory safety ratings in cabs specially Maruti will start counting its doom days.
I have worked with Maruti, MSIL (Maruti suzuki india ltd)where Maruti was my client. They downgrade everything, literally everything and then approve all of them on basis of deviations.
No quality control no safety measures for car design.
Gadi halki karo, sasti karo.
Try pressing fender of new swift with your hand and I promise you it will dent.
Why i am angry about is that majority of this mindset causes a problem for people who want a safe and a economical, VFM car.

I'm planning to switch from i20 to skoda and confused between kushaq and slavia.
While slavia has comfortable ride and gives me driving confidence because it's similar to my hatchback, i want to buy kushaq.
Only challenge i faced in test ride is that ride is bumpy on rough roads. Do you also have similar experience?
Kushaq will have a stiff ride which actually contributes to better control in highways. I needed to sharp cut my car due to a pothole at 120, and it was totally stable. Go for it you will not regret
Grand vitara hybrid vs skoda kushaq...which is more practical
Grand Vitara Hybrid may be the mileage machine. If fuel efficiency is top concern then it's a good choice. If driving dynamics and safety interest someone then Kushaq without any doubt.
Engine reliability, how much do you rate for long voyage.
That is one thing, I need to experience. May be people using Skoda tsi engine can comment better. I don’t expect this turbo 1 litre engine to as reliable as Toyota
Skoda Kushaq or Honda elevate? Which is more practical?
After much deliberation I booked skoda over elevate. Much compact SUV and suits my style.
Is AC issue got fixed ? And i heard some other problems in skoda

VW-Skoda has to work hard on reducing the engine noise in the cabin & also educating the Mass Indian buyers by way of ADs why their Cars are different than competition. Crash test Rating se kuch nahi hota. Indian manufactured Cars from Tata's Nexon, Mahindra's XUV300, 700, Scorpio,...... & Maruti Brezza-Vitara are also offering 4-5 Star Crash test Ratings.
Agreed. It needs agressive marketing campaign. But another thing to note is Skoda is more or less limited to tier 1 cities. People hesitate buying this product if service/sales is far from their location. That is also a reason for limited number in sales.

Unless they improve their Sales & Service Stns Network to B & C Cities it's not easy to improve Sales nos. However good your Cars it's not worth unless of good Service Stn.

Unless they improve their Sales & Service Stns Network to B, C, D Cities & Rural - Districts it's not easy to improve Sales nos. However good your Cars is, it's not worth unless of good Service Stn Network.
Maruti & Hyundai scores over all others because of their Sales Nos & product portfolio to cater from entry level Compact hatch to Sedan & hence are able to offer better Service Stn Network.
Most of of the European & American Car Co. have failed to understand India & Indians Car buying compulsions or limitations.

What about EPC problem?
EPC issue was in the batch made in the 1st half of 2022 and before.
Dont know brother, but i have seen issues coming in 2023 as well. And really this is major issue.
Sorry, what I have seen from few owners recently, they don't report it.

Ambition. I purchased in January 23 so it was 17.6lacs
Bade bhai ek baat sach bolo pls empahsize on it, AC ek bahot ghatiya hai skoda and VW ka. Built pe top hai ye dono per ac and service me sabse ghatiya.
you are very right, Sunroof is purely a gimmick! Ppl who are opting for it should apply some common sense to look for a valid reason before opting for it.

1.5 AT 10 - 11 in Bangalore traffic. 18 - 20 in highways
Taigun. Not taa gun
And folkswagen not volkswagen..
