i want to sooo fkin bad but i might end up getting another car for track and twisties. I don’t feel like spending $10k on suspension and diff for the f30 platform.
For someone that daily’s my f22 m240i these videos are a big help as I am slowly modifying, mostly doing preventative maintenance and your basic res delete and downpipe and intake and playing with MHD and bimmercoding.
Biggest regret was def not just buying the mods i want outright and instead trying to go the cheaper route. Ive gone through tu pump to fx150 to fx180 and stage 3 lpfp to stage 4.5 from hybrid to full frame just trying to reach the power goal i had when i could have just gotten a lot of this stuff from the start and saved the back and forth.
I learned wheel fitment the hard way lol. Im like yeah, i can definitely run a square 10.5x18 +35 on an e92. Rears where good, but the fronts hit strut, and poked a lot lol. Also going too big on turbo, i loved my home built top mount, but the 3582r was just too much turbo for an n54 that was never gonna make 750whp. My 340i i took all those lessons on.
Wheels and wheels/tire packages are huge. Massive discounts on the used market and you get the benefit of seeing it on a car. Usually one similar to yours
my biggest regret so far is how many front lips I've gone through. 2nd is trying to find a rear diffuser that fits an f36 properly, those corners make it difficult.
Fuuu i hate those burbles, the only thing i would get rid of in first time but my ECU has a manual tune, so it`s a problem now 1st to buy is LSD for RWD the best mod in my opinion after getting to 400-500 WHP
Biggest mistake I made was putting the vband clamp in the wrong position. Ended up breaking the weld off the wastegate arm from the turbo about 1500 mile in after putting the turbo on. Live and learn 🤷🏻
If my goal is to push a little over 600hp but don't have access to ethanol what would be the best turbo option to get close. I was looking at the DAW 6769 but would a full frame to mount just be better?
Not necessarily. Lowering your car and different tires can be fine. Kern, myself and most everyone who races or tracks their car changes these things. The key is to do your research, like Kern said. Wheel companies will help you pick them out too.
Lesson learned should be not to be a moron and slam your car. 🙄 Find what works. Do your homework. Don’t believe what the bozos say. Especially when said bozos are “slammed” and live that “stanceboi” life.

Biggest mistake I made was waiting too long to buy the LSD. If you're RWD, it's the biggest night-and-day difference I've experienced in any car.
Where did you buy it from and how much is it?
I was hovering over buying one for my big turbo 440. Even daily driving it feels better? Please share your experiences you have my interest ❤
Bro same same.., 🙌

First mod I did after seeing many vids and forums about the 340i...

My front right tire rubs when the wheel is fully turned to the right. Stock wheels/tires and suspension 🥲
Must’ve bought used and was lied to about accidents or parts
@ when I had my car ceramic coated my detailer said that side of the car was resprayed… never put two and two together

@Kern417, thanks for sharing. Question: What coilovers did you end up using on your 340/440i?

Daw ultraflow and a fx200 hpfp will get you to 600 on ethanol
Awesome vid bro
What coilovers?
Just ordered some aftermarket wheels. What do you guys think about the spec: 19x8.5 35ET with 235/40/19 front and 19x9.5 40ET with 265/35/19?
Bruh specify the model at least
@ my bad bruh. 440i xdrive
Lesson learned, do not lower your car and do not install wider, taller tires. Stick to OEM.
