Agreed, and I hope Queen's Wish is successful as the first Kickstarter game by Spiderweb Software. Not sure how well the Ultima-style layout will appeal to me, but I am hopeful for something new.
I'll be sure to share the reviews on Steam, but if you wish to share the video around it will help. (I don't like to ask for likes, subscriptions or retweets, but I'm simply responding to your comment.)
One important note: If my voice sounds a lot stronger, then that's because I tried a different method of "cleaning" my audio, so I'm hoping all that extra time spent will make future videos easier. (There are some bits left that I couldn't scrub out all the way, FYI.) So let me know if everything turned out as well as I hoped. Also, I will post the transcript with visual-aids later today, right after I crash for a few hours.
i guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Amir Brayan thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I really hope that after the Queen’s wish series is done and the Geneforge remasters, that Jeff remasters Nethergate Ressurection, it’s so jarring and unique from the other games in terms of setting and I absolutely love games that use real history as a frameworks to create a fantastic style universe, and nethergate does it amazingly.
Point of information - the series name is pronounced 'jean' (as per the trousers, or the units of biological info) 'forge' - it's a series about the manipulation of life in a fantasy setting.
@@SpartanWolf222 fair shakes! i'm ashamed to admit that I got distracted writing down my thoughts on the stuff that makes Geneforge great halfway through, but, uh there it is. Let that serve as a lesson to me about waiting till the end before commenting, I suppose!
i remember when i was first learning about spiderweb software the whole exile/avernum thing confused me the most until i finally figured it out. it could confuse some people as gog has both the originals [ in the avernuum pack] and the remakes both on sale. atlest steam only has the remakes.
i'm playing avernum 4 right now and i think the engine is not that hard to get used to. if you have ever played the ie games you should be able to get used to it.
Imagine playing the first three games for 30 - 50 hours, and then playing Avernum 4. Most people would find that issue to be a barrier of entry; it doesn't bother me, but I'm acknowledging the problem for others.
great video, needs some "background audio" nothing to overwhelming but just to fill the void in the background. Even just gameplay audio would be good.
Thanks for the feedback. I would have turned the recording audio on for this video, but the constant ambiance tracks and the repeating sound-effects would have become grating on the ears. Outside of the intro themes, there isn't any audio for Spiderweb games. It's why I resorted to the Wizardry 6 OST at the start and the end as the tracks felt appropriate for the video.
I've played spiderweb software games for 12 years they are so good and underated

That song you payed at the begining. Where did you find it? I have heard it before, for sure, but where? I cannot find it.

Good to know. I think I mentioned that in the video, but I liked the sound of gene-o-forge since it goes back to the idea of magical-based genetics.

@@vdate no worries. It’s been a while since I made this video, but I could have sworn I wrote it down in the script.

Steam actually has Avernum 1 - 3 as remakes and Avernum 4 - 6.

I'm a pretty new Spiderweb Software fan and I agree that Nethergate is the worst to play. It's a shame that such a unique game is so dated.
