Hmm. Looks cool but the colour thing is interesting. I know grading was a thing even in the old days but in the film it looks gu metal/closer to black while this looks closer to silver. Look at the extreme difference between the body and eyes/lenses on the piece and in the film (both miniature/stop-mo and full size versions). Anyway colour is a whole can of worms and that's just an opinion. I've been to the archives but honestly can't remember about the probe droid. And yeah I saw it when it first came out too and remember when it used to be called "Probot"!! Thanks for the review!
Yes the color is probably off, but it doesn't bother me, I just really wanted a Probot in my collection. I do know that the original model wasn't black and it was more of a grey color, also there is more than one reference photo.
@@echo.base.collectibles why don't re-paint it and do some aging in a darker gray tone ? Too much of work ? If you're okay with it fine, be happy but if i would spend that amount of money on that thing i would probably really piss-ed , i would return the thing i guess
@@aquariumlife2929 Yeah I wouldn't spend time repainting it, I'm not that picky about it and I'm very happy with it. But I understand where you are coming from.
It’s the actual remains of the one that Han shot on Hoth. For the last 40 years, It’s been traded around the galaxy by bounty hunters, bothan, bith, Twi’lecks, Jawas, retired clone troops, as a collectible.
