What an amazing career, so many years. The B747 is so amazing, Dad loved flying and retired a few years ago. There were times he dreaded leaving for a trip, but I know he loved the time flying the Boeing. Thank you for putting this footage together, he really enjoyed it.
I love the way he holds the nose gear up so long on landing. Hey is the black streaking coming off the bottom of the rudder a fuel leak from the vertical stabilizer storage tanks, leaking skydrol, or just dirt build up from the exhaust?
Dad flew for Saturn Airways which later merged with TIA, and they changed their name to Transamerica Airlines, based in California. He flew the B747-271C
perfect landing
I really love your early morning series!! Beautiful sunrise with beautiful flight!
That was beautiful ... I watched it twice. My Dad is a retired B-747-200 Captain, so I enjoyed watching this as I'm sure he will too.
