Absolutely marvelous Mani Iyer! The Kamboji was out of this world- as brilliant as Mani Iyer was Sri TNK, I thought, stole the show in this particular song. Vellore Ramabadran on mridangam and Alangudi Ramachandran on ghatam were terrific.

Pantuvarali, Bhairavi, Kamboji, Todi and Kalyani all in the same concert! Why don't some of the modern artists include more of the major rags in their concerts instead of only exploring relatively unknown ragas?
I couldnt have agreed more...in fact I clearly remember that MMA presented a similarly brilliant and memorable selection of major ragas on the first occasion I attended his concert in the same year 1966 at Rock Fort Temple, Trichy.
never heard from anyone whose bhairavi is pleasant. every one sings its with sadness . MMIs bhairavi is so pleasant and gouravam. i haven't heard him singing other than Koluvai. anyone has different recording?
If you search UA-cam, you can find his recordings on Sri Kamalambaya and Yaro Ivar Yaro in the same raga.
He has sung Tamil song of yaro evar yaro many times which is marvelous song which is available in ytube

Vellur Ramabhadran sir is only matching mmi sir.
To this day I thought MMI sings awesome second speed Kalpana swara(I am only 18. So I can only listen to his recordings like this). But, his first speed Kalpana is equally soothing.The sound of mridangam is awesome. Is this a single concert or many pieces attached? Also who sings along MMI? TVS?

In those days a concert would go for 4 to 5 hours also. The greats like Madurai Somasundarsm & K B Sundarambal are known for very long concerts. Since you are used to 1 & half hour concerts, you are thinking that this is a compilation from different concerts. The world is moving fast. No time to sit & enjoy forgetting the world itself.
