can't help but feel sorry for bowser in this game; he was shot out a cannon, suffered amnesia, his body taken by cackletta and then blown out of the sky.

Its just a big downgrade from the HP now that Bowletta almost has the same HP. But trust me, you are right in a way
@@EvelEyee But the thing is, it takes away the "wait what" factor on how easy Bowletta is compared to what you might think. When I encountered her for the first time I was really confused when I beat her in a few hits, only to get surprised at what the REAL final boss is.
I know that it was too easy in the original, and they made the mush badges harder to get(via the dudes who gave you super 1 ups in superstar saga) and the mush badges are so Op when u have alot of mushrooms, which costs ALOT of money. So yeah. its easier in a sense. cackletta's soul really needed an big upgrade: "durr, its pretty hard!" Well im saying tiny, like 10 plus power, or 200 plus Hp for that tiny spice of difficulty. Bowletta certainly was hard, but I think it turned out for the better. Summary: Bowletta deserved the massive buff, but it was a bit too massive

I feel really sorry for Bowser in this game. Him and his crew were shot down, he was shot from a cannon, suffered from Amnesia, fell from the sky after remembering who he was, got possessed shortly after that, he then got blown out of the sky, and then got stuffed into a giant box that was chained to the back of the airplane being forced to be embarrassed.

Cackletta´s soul dying animation is the scariest shit I´ve ever seen. The inhuman roar, and the freakish face and arm swing trying to get the bros before exploding... now that is goddam nightmare fuel right there.

The original Superstar Saga is one of my favourite Mario games ever, to see it remade like this is so cool!!
One detail I've always loved is that Popple's sprite in battle is his Dream Team one, but when he goes into fury mode, his sprite looks more like the one in Superstar Saga.

Being a huge fan of the original, this remake is fucking amazing! If anyone is on the fence on buying this gem, I strongly recommend it!
I played the original as well and with some things I did like but others I didn't. For one While I loved hearing Cackletta's original theme for a second time when you fought fawful for the second time it totally took away from the uniqueness of it being reserved only for Cackletta herself. If anything they should have given him his own original theme or reused the popple theme like the original.
But yeah I have to agree it is an excellent remake. I wonder if they will do the same for both Partners in time, and Boswer's inside story.
I agree, it’s fun. I had trouble unlocking the final boss in the side game, though.
The second fight with Popple was fun in my opinion. Not only they moved the Beanstar out of the way, they bowed in respect before fighting. Heck, Rookie aka Bowser seemed pleased.

First off, your comment makes no sense. If they were stricter in the early 2000, then the middle finger animation wouldn't exist in the first place. Second, there's lots of times in cartoons when a character with three fingers holds up their middle finger, because that's the closest they got to an index finger. Do the censors care? No.

I loved this game growing up! It's my all time favorite mario game. It takes everything about mario and makes it even more epic in scale.

The first time I played this game (original version) I sensed something that I never sensed in the beginning, a sensation like, excitement, but it's something that I can't describe.
This and Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey has amazing graphics for 3DS games! The backgrounds are insane!

I finished replaying this a week ago and I just have to say it's still really fun. This is probably one of the only Mario and Luigi RPG games that fit my taste.

They followed the order of the Koopalings from Super mario world not super mario bros 3. Had they follow that order here is how it would have went.
