this is so informative thank you. Just a friendly suggestion, if you could minimize the video to shorter clips (more straight to the point), that would be amazing for time pressed mama's to be. Other than that, thanks for your insight and tips

Great job Mandy! Yeah bath toys can get disgusting!! Thank you for the info! As grandbabies keep coming, things like this are really important to me!

She literally said - it was never placed in the bath. You didn’t fully view this video did ya? That’s why seeing the interior was so disturbing, because the baby’s drool was the only moisture exposure.🦒

I saw a 1.5 year old die of a moldy bath toy they drank from? My 3 year old takes showers but she wanted to take a bath and I noticed her shark had mold I just threw it away but she didn’t drink it but now I’m like so paranoid 😢

We make sure to empty the water out of LO's bath toys IMMEDIATELY after use, rest them so the water pools by the holes, then drain them again once baby is in bed at night. We also sterilize them when ever we sterilize anything else (Medicine syringes, bottle or pump parts, other toys when LO is unwell) and do the same double-draining process. We're fortunate as well that whilst durable, we can hold them to light and see inside. So we know when there is water or 'nasties' inside. The only bath toys we have are the ones LO's Grandpops brought as a gift when we made an emergency trip home finding out Grandpops is terminally ill. Not only do we want to keep the bath toys in good shape as long as possible for environmental reasons, but a number of sentimental ones too. We only have 5, and 1 we keep out of the water because it's near impossible to drain. No more bath toys are needed. We actually thought 5 was a bit much. 😅 So we'd rather not just replace them for something easier to clean...

I went into my old toy chest and found my old rubber ducky. I squeezed it and black stuff came out.
*_I never liked that duck anyways._*

Mandy i love you but i would have used that moment as a teaching moment expecially since you take the toys outside. Don't put bath water in your mouth 😊 its dirty & will make you sick just like pool water.
